Title gives this one away lol, thought i would just introduce myself.
I'm 21 from the UK used to play with transformers as a kid and hav recently rediscovered a new love for them.
I'm thinkin of becomin a collector but startin from next to nothing so any advice u guys are willin to give will be much appreciated.

Ummmm.... Take those 2. Buy 2 More. Then 2 More. Repeat that for roughly two years. And we'll be even... For G1. But then, I'm a nutter job.

Welcome aboard Darkeagle. We're glad to have you. Check out the toy review section for collections. Trance's store here offers great transformers for sale and he is way more trustworthy than most ebay sellers. Good luck on your collection. My G1 is nearly complete as far as the us releases go.

Well im a bit better than TT i think i got a penny *looks though cup holder in truck* paydirt i got 10 penneys ha!!!!!!! :P tho i know your collection is more complete on the g1 line than me lol

Cheers looks like a quality forum with real good people!
Well i hav Original optimus and an original Rodimus so its pretty good start i think as they r 2 of my fav characters. I managed to pick up Metroplex yesterday for £10 with 2 pieces missin i think. I can see this bein a really addictive hobby lol.
Do you guys mainly ive in the US?

I think most of us still do! :P

@ Dark_Eagle52 - the members of TFL are mainly from the US and UK (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but there are members from all over the world; Australia, Belgium, Canada, Norway and Sweden to name a few.

I live in Australia I started collecting again just after the first movie and have about 300 or so now so yes very addictive :P and nice buy on the metroplex good deal for sure :D
