KO cassettes

Post by LD2062 »

I was on ebay and I found some guy selling some KO cassettes. Normally I don't care for KOs but these are kind of cool and he only wants a buck eachand $2 for shipping. The colors are random though. "Buy now" more than 10 of each.

A buck each isn't bad at all. There is a local shop here had them as well, I pass on them tho.

They remind me of a Ramhorn KO that I got awhile back. He is dark and light blue, and about 2-3 times the size of the original. Has no weapons however.

I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.

Is +1 on Kups list.

If you search through that same seller's listings, he calls Cutthroat a "Hawk" and, get this...

Rippersnapper is a BADGER!

Bwahahaha!

EDIT: Sweet! There's also knock-offs of Convertors like Robat and the peacock guy! Sadly, no weapons :(

I've seen these at the dollar stores. You might want to check a dollar store near you.

Mine doesn't really have a name. It just says "Dollar Store" Talk about boring. They really aren't that great quality. I live in California.

Can anyone who has these, or sees them in a dollar store look for a brand or company name? Something I could use for a keyword search.

There are websites where you can buy stock for dollar stores. I've seen whole cases of toy sell for like $25. I'm wondering how much more it would cost to get a case rather than 1 of each.

The ones I got off feeBay have no manufacturer, they just say "5 in 1". The baggie they came in is all in Japanese or Chinese with pictures of happy smiling kids on it.

Hey! I just oredered 1 of each from that seller a couple days ago, and i asked the guy if he would combine the shipping and he did a 50% discount. Got em' for $2 each. It might take a while before i get them though due to parcel post shipping and the holiday weekend. I'll report back on the quality soon as i get those in. :P

I have a few of these. They are CHEEEEEEEAP, but it's hard to complain about $2 microcassettes. I added some paint to my orange and yellow ravages and designated them G1 Cheetor and G1 Tigertron.

If anybody wants to swap one of those squawktalks (wasn't available when I got mine), I have the others available.

I wonder if they fit in that huge KO Soundwave in the other thread?

No, they're not oversized, they'll fit in a regular Soundwave.

Right on man, repainting them sounds like a great idea. Hope you post some pics :D
