I'm back!

Hello all TFLers I'm back! Sorry I have been gone for so long High school requires tons of after school time so I just haven't had the time unfortunately or the money for transformers which I haven't bought since about August (and Black ops!). But I'm back and I need to get back into the swing of TFL and transformers news. Hope to catch up with some older members and meet some of the newer members!

According to the "Activate Autobot City" trivia game on the
Transformers: The Movie 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD i borrowed from the public library, the "Universal Greeting" is "Bah-weep-Graaaagnah wheep ni ni bong".
But every time the Universal Greeting comes up in the movie (whether it's Kup saying it to the Quintesson soldiers, Hot Rod echoing it incredulously, the Quintesson soldiers echoing it mindlessly, Hot Rod introducing it to the Junkions, Wreck-Gar echoing it curiously, Hot Rod reaffirming it, or the Junkions taking it up for themselves), the DVD closed captioning uses "Baa weep grahna weep ninny bong".
According to
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Universal_greeting, "It is commonly transliterated as
Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong. Japanese greeting:
Berwip crawna-wi pinibon."
(Personally, though, i can never remember any of the "correct" spellings--
if any of these actually
are correct--so i just give it my best guess at trying to spell it so someone who has never seen or heard it before would pronounce it correctly. Maybe that makes me a ninny, but at least i don't have a bong.)
