It was quite touching that scene. Scorponok died after that, pity he was an excellent character.

I'm rather curious why you chose Thunderwing. All he did as leader was to kill everything and anything that got between him and the Matrix. He didn't really lead very well.

Let me answer that Delita-1.

Thunderwing was given the title of Decepticon leader in the UK comic way before he was given it in the US story. He was given the leadership by the Decepticion council of Elders, with theses words;

"You passed our revised test with flying colours you exhibited single-mindedness,ruthlessness and fighting prowess! The perfect qualities for leadership!

Shockwave, after all, he was left in charge of Cybertron while Megs and the Decept's followed the Autobot's into space.
Shockwave was in charge of Cybertron for over 4 million years
He also is the one who created the Dinobots in the comic story.

Correction my friend.

After the Ark crashed on Earth Shockwave followed us down and got lost. Due to radioactivity in the Earths atmosphere. The Ark sensed Shockwave was here and recreated 5 Autobots in the form of Dinosaurs to battle him. (Shockwave had landed in the savage Lands where dinosaurs still ruled, the Ark took these to be the dominant species at the time, thus the dinobots were created) They fought and shockwave had them beaten. But Snarl whacked the cliff with his tail and the Dinos' fell into the Tar pit where they lay for 4 million years and Shockwave lay buried under tons of rock for 4 million years. The rest you should know.

Aside from what was already mentioned, that's a big reason why I like him so much. He doesn't mess around.

Starscream. When I was a kid watching the show, I wanted him to overthrow Megatron in the worst way. He might be a cowardly idiot, but he's confident and peristent!

You forgot the 2 for Scorponok, that at least ties Thunderwing.

If I could, I would vote for Overlord too. He's kind of the Decepticon commander during Masterforce (except he's really just taking orders from Devil Z). But he is a very human commander, but yet a true Decepticon. The human side probably comes from the fact that he is made up of two human partners.
