Hello all!

My name is Robo-Synergy and I am new to the forums but have known about TFL for awhile now and thought I'd join up since I love buying from this wonderful place of transformerland!

Here is a bit about me:

Introduction
I go by the alias "Robo-Synergy" and I love transforming robot toys because of having a cool older brother who had them while growing up watching the cartoon at the same time and I caught the Transformer bug since!

What do you like about Transformers?
What I like about Transformers is the toys and cartoons. I enjoyed playing with the toys physically in hand and watching them in action in the cartoon with their characters unique fun personalities and amazing voices.

What is your favourite era of Transformers?
It has always been G1 because I just love the simplicity and yet complexity of the toys and how they adapted their designs in the cartoon and what they could do was special to me and when ever I hear the transforming sound, I just think it is one of the coolest sounds!

Do you collect any form of the franchise?
Yes, I collect the G1 toys with exceptions of other Transformer related series. I still love to collect the blocky, bricky, simple articulated transforming robot toys because I see the high quality effort that was put into them for their time.
I also love collecting Transformers G1 related tv series, art books, and music.

Did you always collect?
No, I only started passionately collecting around 2010, I never was a collector but ever since a close friend of mine gave me a "Transformers: Universe, 25th anniversary Optimus Prime" as a gift, I wanted to start getting my favourite characters from the toyline/cartoon and then as time progressed I decided to collect more what I always loved and wanted!

Closing words?
It's great being apart of this site and I love sharing the overall Transformers passion! Mostly G1 though :P So I hope to see you all around and thank you for reading!

Hey john thanks for joining. I see we have similar tastes :D When it takes 10+ minutes to transform a deluxe class toy it becomes more of a chore than fun for me. On the other hand figs like supreme starscream take it too far in the other direction. There I s just something about g1 that has not been recaptured yet

Hello trance, thank you very kindly! Oh I'm happy to be apart of these forums. I like it much better than the other major Transformer fan websites because they never gave me such warm welcomes!
I couldn't agree more with you! I'm glad we see eye to eye on those factors that define what a Transformer is and how much greater it can still be as appose to the new ones. Even without the amount articulation or transformation complexity which is all cool and all but sometimes even the most simplistic G1 styled toys can still hold a greater quality and hopefully sentimental value in the long run and they still do truly stand the test of time!

Long live G1 for Til All Are One!
