i know, my spelling is atrocious. But i meant every word i said.

So, what do you want to know about me? i was born in 1983, and i grew up loving *Transformers: Generation 1*. i moved onto other interests as my friends--Primus knows why--became less interested in *TF*, but whenever i saw new shows or new toys or ads for either or both, i stopped what i was doing to pay attention. It was kind of like running into an old friend and stopping to see what they're up to. i don't consider myself a TransFan, because i don't think i'm worthy of the name; the real TransFans of the world know so much more about *Transformers*, both what's going on in their universe (such as how Megatron becomes Galvatron) and how those events manifest themselves in our universe (such as which TV shows, movies, comics, etc. show how Megatron becomes Galvatron, and what Galvatron toys are coming out to replace the Megatrons). And i lack the time, funds, and other resources necessary to become a TransFan like that. But i've definitely got the driving (pun intended) love that TransFans have. [cue Stan Bush's "The Touch" in background]

i've also got a class to attend pretty soon, so i guess i'll talk to you later. But for now, let me just say thanks for being here, i'm glad i found you, and i will be back. Until then...

thanks for joining up! i'm always glad to see someone new (or old). by the way, megs doesn't turn into galvatron til 2005-2006 according to transformers chronology  . i think that even though you may not deem yourself a TransFan, you are still worthy of the title in that you at least care. noone says you have to life transformers (as i do... ) to be a Transfan. so welcome to the site, transfan, and if you still don't think you know enough to be one, we can certainly turn you into one!

by the way, the hot topic these days is the new alternators line. i don't know if you still spend on transformers, but if you intend on buying new ones, these come highly recommended!

Thanks for your warm welcome, Time Traveller!

i was going to say a whole lot more about myself here, give the rest of you some idea of what i know about *Transformers*, what i like best about them and what makes my circuits sizzle, and also mention some of my other interests. But i ran out of time when i wrote that first post, and i've since decided to hold off on finishing it up for a while--don't want to blow my own horn too much just yet, lest i start to make Sunstreaker seem humble.

Instead, i'll just go around posting the replies/topics/questions i had in mind that convinced me to join up, and if y'all can tolerate me after some of that, i'll come back here so anyone who's really a glutton for punishment can read my life story. ("A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....")

Speaking of time, T.T., since you travel outside of it--can you confirm or deny the accuracy of reports that Megatron becomes Galvatron 2005-2006?

As for Alternators, i've seen some of 'em, and i've seen some of the threads about them going on here--one of the reasons i joined up was to put my own two cents in. Speaking of which, two cents is approximately how much money i have to spend, so Alternators are a bit beyond my reach just now. Plus, if i had the cash, i might be leaning more towards some of the *TF* graphic novels i've been reading in the bookstores and comics shops, or that *Hardwired* trilogy you found. Maybe. Then again, if i'm planning what to buy with money i don't have yet, i might as well dream big and plan on getting two of everything (one for use and one for mint preservation). A little wishful thinking never hurt anybody, right? OW!

And i was planning to just leave a quick note here. The best laid plans of mice, men, and mechanoids, eh? All right, on to other posts. See how many i can do before classtime...

P.S.--Trance, you stole my name. i'll forgive you because of this great site you have going, but don't do it again! ;)

Sorry about stealing your name, STARS :)

BTW, does that name happen to come from the old TF catalog promotion? Where's the 539 come from? It can't be a date :)

If you're posting on this forum, that means by default you are a Transfan :) I know personally I am a huge Transfan, even though outside the G1 cartoon and movie, I haven't paid much attention to the story line. I'm more into the toys...perhaps a little *too* into them

Anyhow, it's nice to have you around, and hope to see you 'round here some more!
