Well, I figured we have a place to rant and rave about the things that piss us off in the "Get it off your chestplate" thread, so we need one for just the opposite. Post about things that make you happy or put a smile on your face.

Did something nice happen to you today? Have you heard a great new joke? Did you buy yourself a sweet Transformer? Come and share it!

I'll start. I was telling Rodimus about this earlier:

I was driving downtown the other day past one of the many historic churches we have around here. A particular one I drove by is in the process of being restored. I was stopped at a red light just in front of it and happened to look up at a large banner hanging off the side that read "Save the clock tower!" Now I realize this is very geeky and maybe even quite lame, but the first thing I thought of was Back to the Future, and it gave me a little giggle.

Silly things like that can sometimes make my day.

I agree with Abominus. Getting more TF's in hand gives me a lift when i am feeling down. [just do not give me action masters. Sorry TT but stalker hates Action masters and anything Stalker hates too much he destroys. I will have to post picks of the destruction of action master wheeljacks turbo racer. ]

Missiles? there were no missiles with the thing. it was just bare. besides it turned out to be tougher than i expected so it stayed in one peice

To get this topic back onto its original direction (I seem to be doing that a lot recently)

There are loads of things that make me go ohh.
I had a thing that made me smile today. My daughter was down visiting and we were laying watching cartoons (our fav past time) and she can always tell when I'm feeling a little low (I have been missing Arcee a lot lately) so she snuggled in to me and it just made me feel happy to have someone close by that loves me. It's always nice to have someone to just hug you to make you smile.

Things that make sense.
When recklessly recoloring Blackout into Evac (the MH-53 actually is an evacuation copter more than an attack copter) They remolded the head to look less evil (wooo!) and he drops a little life raft instead of a mini skorponok (woo!)

A couple of things put a smile on my face today:

- Some really, really good reads. Finally snagged the first Fables trade after like three weeks of eyeing it and it is so freaking good.

- A ridiculous (read: ree-deek-ulous) chat I had this afternoon with certain individuals.

Even though I usually save things like this (warm fuzzies and all that other junk) for Friday's in my gripe thread, I feel the need to also say that I enjoy chat groups of good friends that I have no other means of contacting.
