Any suggestions for some good non-cartoon TV shows?

Since we only get one channel, I rent a lot of stuff off Netflix & I'm running out of ideas.

I'm just trying to think what's on DVD to rent.

I had blockbuster, but I'm sure Netflix has the same shi te. But you should definitely rent Pete & Pete and Kids In The Hall. And if you haven't seen it go and rent Father Ted immediately, its Irish and its hilarious and everyone needs to watch it.

lol I've only seen a few episodes, but the ones I did see were consecutive and hilarious. The whole bit with Ben Stiller getting his eye poked out! lololol

If you like Seinfield you'll like Curb, just think about it that way.

i like being able to watch the abc shows on the internet. I like desperate housewives and ugly betty but then again I am a total chick flick kinda girl but ugly betty is ridiculously funny.

and the best part is you don't have to rent them or wait for them you can watch them online.

Smallville, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Ghosthunters. Those are my top picks for tv shows. Ghosthunters is so friggin awesome!

Ghost Hunters is a show that follows TAPS (the atlantic paranormal society.) They investigate old buildings and reported hauntings. They go in and set up cameras and infared and do EVP work, etc. Its REALLY good. Its on SCI-FI on Wednesdays 9p eastern.

Does anyone else watch Arrested Development??

I'm almost done with watching it, got two more discs of season three, and I swear to God its the funniest thing I've ever watched.

hahah! Yeah! Its about this family who owns a realestate company, but their father gets arrested for shady business practices. The one son michael assumes responsibility, while the other members of the family continue to spend and undermind his good work.

Its madness, sheer madness! And Cameos up the wazoo! And the show is narrated by Ron Howard. You can tell they really had fun making it (which makes it fun to watch) that by season three it just degrades to a whole slew of inside jokes.

I went to England with a friend of mine about 2 years ago. While we were there we went to a haunted bar / jail. It was really creepy, then last season ghosthunters went to that exact bar and caught some neat stuff. It a very creepy show, especially when you hear spirits laughing or being tormented.

Ghost hunters is a good show, I like the episodes where they come to the Stanley hotel in Colorado cause I've stayed there and walked around in some of the places they heard weird stuff. I wish I heard it.
