The 2008 F1 season has started with the Australian Grand Prix. A pretty good race I thought, and with a few new rules added to make it a bit more exciting. Ones I can remember are:
*Gear boxes and engines must last 4 races.
*No Traction control.
*A standard ECU for every team.
***SPOILERS***
If you haven't seen the race yet look away now....
Hamalton won! Woo, a great start to the new season. I would like to see him win it this year. It was a shame last year but I am sure he can do it, and if you can judge by him by this race he will have no problems at all. Also a good job to the new Mclaren driver Heikki Kovalainen, he managed to set the fastest race of the lap. All I want to see from future races is a few more cars to finish it lol, 15 retirements is quite a few!
Rumble.
R.I.P, Menasor.
I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.
A good start from the boy, lets hope he can keep it up for the next 5/6 races and get a good tally of points. 15 retirements, that is bad, very bad. They should fine cars that retire, surely they are cheating the people who come to watch if 15 don't do the whole race?
I suppose they'd rather retire than risk losing components they'll need for the next races....Besides, not as bad as the tire war fiasco a couple years back
As michael schuhmacher was in Formula 1 i have sen it everytime, but now itsnot more so intresting for me.i was MS-Fan.And the new germans are not so good in my opinion
