Radiohead revolution.

Post by meeshabot »

I just want to say, I don't listen to much Radiohead, but I think I might start. Do you like free? Because I certainly like free. And that's what Radiohead decided to charge for their latest album. (sort of) Have you all heard about Radiohead's name your own price?

Go to their website.
Download their latest album Rainbow, in its entirety, for free.
And then, pay them based on whether or not you enjoyed the album. Or don't. Whatever.

I'm actually really impressed by this. Finally a system of compensation that accurately represents how music should be bought. Like in the days of traveling bards or minstrels. If we liked their songs, maybe we'd throw a few coppers their way. Merry meet, etc. And if not, the rotton tomatoes! Power to the listeners!
