I am in error, its the preliminary rounds. Allow me to explain....
In the prelims if a match is tied 1-1 or 6-6 even it goes to extra time. They play each other twice, once at each others stadium. If it drawn at the end of the second match they go to extra time.
In the competition proper, in the knockout ot stages of it if it is say 3-3 at Evertons ground and 2-2 at Standard Liege's ground Standard Liege win because they have scored more goals away from their groun than Everton did. Does that make any sense?
Something else that I have never understood about football.
If the team do badly, they sack the manager, but surely it is not his fault if the team loose, the book should stop with the players for not performing, that and no - one wins every match.
Moyes contract is up for renewal is what is going on I get the impression that either side is wanting to renew.
The manager is responsible for motivating them and telling them what to do when they are on the pitch, tactics, positioning, formation.... Not only that but if a player isn't working out, pah, sell him!! Can't sell thye manager!

The Offside rule:
The attacker cannot be ahead of the last defender when the ball is played.
He can actually, as long as he is still behind the ball
That is why, when two attackers are through on goal against a keeper, it is ok to pass it across to the other attacker and it not be offside, if he is behind the ball.
It must be one of the hardest rules in sport to enforce, seeing as a linesman has to see where the attacker is as the ball is played. Obviously, if those two events are far apart, it's impossible to look in two places at once, which equals a hell of a lot of wrong decisions
Forest lost again It really is a joke now. We must have had 15 shots and 30 crosses into their box but just couldn't find the net again. The other team had like 4 shots and scored two.
I'm annoyed Man City let a 2 goal lead slip as well!
