Smallville is one of my favs, as well, SP, ! It's probably one of the only shows I look forward to seeing during the week! That, Heroes and Supernatural! I also enjoy watching Top Model and Project Runway with the misses, ! I like the Boondocks, too, but I always miss it,

It's a Japanese game show that some American guys dubbed into English, but they make up their own crude and funny names for the games and teams/contestants.
Arcee's right, it's one of the best shows eveh. I watched it for years before I figured out the games were based on the Mario Bros video games. Even knowing it was based on Yoshi's castle!

Kup, check this one out. No joke, I nearly threw up laughing at this.
Wow, I never even realized that. I can't believe I didn't make the connection...Ramjet wrote:I watched it for years before I figured out the games were based on the Mario Bros video games.

Since we've got such a global community here, any Doctor Who fans among us?
My wife and I really enjoy Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures which both air on the SciFi channel here in the U.S. But we don't get Torchwood here and we were thinking about buying the DVDs. But we're a little wary about plunking down the cash for a show we've never seen.
Any Who fans here than can comment on Torchwood?

One of my favorite shows that was taken off the air WAYYYYY before its time was "Dead Like Me".
Dead Like Me was created by Bryan Fuller of "Heroes" fame and was on the American pay television channel Showtime.
Dead Like Me is basically about a young woman named Georgia Lass(nickname George) who is killed by a toilet seat that fell from space off of a space station. She finds that she is not to "move on" to heaven or another state of being. she has the great fortune to be one of the many "reapers" who take the soul of a future decedent before they die so that their soul will not be damaged by the mode of death. Along with George there are also other reapers and they all work with and against each other.
George has to find a way to live without her family, support herself and still meet people on her "to do list" for reaping. More or less it is a coming of age story and it is one of my favorite shows. It lasted for two seasons before Showtime canned it.
I think its because of "Dexter" and Showtime executives were stupid but I could very well possibly be wrong.
Anyway...............................
I thought it was just a hoax but there really is going to be a direct to DVD Dead Like Me movie released in January of 2009 and there is a trailer for it on You Tube.
I can't post it because of some language and a reference to something else but if you want to see it just do a search for Dead Like Me 2009 Movie Trailer and you should find it.
I hope that the fans of this show will revive the Dead Like Me series and it'll come back.
