The bomb gets to be a villain? Can inanimate objects do that?

Only because of a Texan though. Maybe we should blame Texas, not the bomb. The bomb gave them plenty of opportunities to not kill the earth.

Couldn't agree more.

Hannibal killed more people on screen in that movie than Jame Gumb/Buffalo Bill did...his cunning just adds to it as well. However, you are correct as Hannibal is not the primary antagonist--Buffalo Bill is the aggressor in that case.

Everyone that said Megatron is a great big screen villain seems to be forgetting that in his two big screen appearances, he was only there for fifteen minutes, and had his hind parts handed to him each time!

I killed 4 on the shuttle, then Optimus Prime died from injuries he received at my hands. Destroyed a whole city the first time round and god knows how many characters off screen as well. 2nd Time round killed Jazz and beat the crap out of optimus Prime again. More done in 15 minute than the rest put together.

24. Khan Nonien Singh (Star Trek: Wrath of Kahn) Should be on the list, to keep the trekkies happy, but at #25.
22. Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians) PUL-LEASE. She threatned some puppies! How about the Sea Witch? Hades? Scar? Captain Hook for christ's sake!
20. Lex Luthor (Superman) Which one? Spacey or Hackman?
18. T-1000 (Terminator 2) Schwarty was better in the 1st movie. No personality in the T-1000. More of a MONSTER than a VILLAIN.
13. Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street) Cheesey, but I can deal.
12. Michael Myers (Halloween) MONSTERS <> Villains. No personality. Doesn't belong on the list. Why him and not Jason Vorhees?
11. Harry Powell (Night of the Hunter) Should be top 5, pos #1 candidate.
10. The Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty was MUCH better!
8. Hans Gruber (Die Hard) Very overated villain IMHO. Should be towards the bottom. ~#20 maybe.
5. The Joker (The Dark Knight) Ledger's Joker should be #1 or #2
2. Darth Vader (Star Wars) Should be be #1, execpt maybe for Ledger's Joker.
1. Lord Voldemort (Harry Potter) No way he should be number one! Top 10 at BEST!

How about Gary Oldman's Count Dracula? How about Tyler Durden (Fight Club)? Jabba the Hutt? Palpatine? The dude from Clockwork Orange? The policeman in Les Miserables?

Oh well. There were a LOT that I never saw. Guess I have some NETFLIX picks I've got to add!

And Ghost? Good call on Mister Glass!

Painting guy from Ghostbusters 2. He was a mentalist, possessed people, gooed up New York City AND stole a baby.

Whilst Hans Gruber was my first thought, I think Simon Gruber, out for revenge was far nastier!

Ooh, how about Clarence Boddicker from Robocop? The start of that film was terrifying, I must have been about 6 or 7 when I first saw it. Possibly the first violent film I saw!
