you all need to not pick on roar, she was just stating her opinion of what she saw, and from what I read she made a good point, even though the reaction was funny the real life results of scaring someone holding a gun could have been tragic, what if a child was standing close by and she accidently shot the child?
Guns are not a toy and should never be handled in the manor that lady was handling it.

I have to agree with Roar, that guy is a complete prat. Handguns are now, and have been for some time, illegal in the UK with good reason. Dont get me wrong, Derrick has 4 guns ( a single barrel shotgun, a double barrel shotgun and 2 rifles ) but they are used for pest control among other things.

RANDOM (happy) FIREARM STORY
My physics research advisor was this old, busybody polish professor who escaped the communist gov't with his then-wife and came to the states to study and teach. the guy is full of hilarious stories. to complete the image, he's about 5'5" (165) at best, probably shorter, and about 130 lb (59 kg) at best. one day, i get back from my marksmanship class and go to the lab with him to do the day's work. i mention the class, and he chuckles. in his little-old-polish-guy accent he says
"I tell you story about my expedience with the gun. My friend here took me out to shoot the clay disk one time, with twenty-gauge double-barrel shot gun. when he pulls the string to throw the disk, i think i should pull both triggers at once! it knocked me flat on my rump!"

I love Jacek stories.

Derricks are King Edwards shotguns. I always know when he has had it out as he comes back holding his shoulder. I can tell you, there is some kick with shotguns. I think pulling both triggers at once would send even arnie flying.
