Used to? How come you quit?

I play Hobbes (my cello, thusly named because the wood he's made with is covered in absolutely gorgeous striping that looks a lot like tiger stripes) in my university orchestra. I LOVE it so much. Even though I'm not a pro or anything, it's just so relaxing and soothing and there's such a feeling of accomplishment when you and about 30 other people work together to make beautiful harmonies and melodies.

I play the bass and the harmonica (an odd combination, I know).

The bulk of the stuff that I have worked on is under the unfortunate name Sausage Boy. LANGUAGE WARNING!!

I also worked with a guy in the UK on this. LANGUAGE WARMING AGAIN!

And for those game enough to dive into the dirty, terrible past, Jonny Juice and the Good Time Boys, the first band I was in. ANOTHER LANGUAGE WARNING!

Used to? How come you quit?

I never got very far with it really, it was an extra school class that I did a few times a week for about a year and a half. I had to stop when I left the school as there was no way of affording it anymore. If I ever get the chance (and the room) I will get my self a basic cello to re-aquaint myself.

The only thing I could realistically play for a band would be my keyboard. I don't know enough guitar to play onstage. However, I intend to learn. Dr. Girlfriend (my guitar) is too beautiful to go to such a waste! (it's a black Dean VX. I'll post pics later.)

I need a new keyboard. I really want a Casio CZ-3000 synthesizer, but they don't seem too plentiful.

So as I think some of the longer standing members here know (at least I think I talked about this before), I enjoy making music in my spare time. And by spare time I mean really any time because I don't really do anything anymore. I don't play instruments, but that wasn't the question being asked. I make rap music. In fact one of my brilliant works can be found on youtube.
