Someone mentioned that Americans like to listen to Brits talk mostly for their accents, I thought I’d conduct a poll about it.
Do you find someone more attractive if they have a pleasant accent?
How do you judge people by the tone or accent of their voice?

I studied French for a long time in school. I wanted to do foreign exchange programs, but I missed the deadline
I like French and German accents, just cause i've been to both countries. As far as attractiveness goes, any accent is good for me.

^ahahaha
I have to say I love the sound of a french accent speaking English.
On the other hand, I went on a tour of Italy several years ago, and met these australian women who kept asking me to talk because they loved hearing the american accent. i was surprised.

The British Accent is pretty nice when you want the news or to fall asleep, but for everyday speech there is nothing quite like the wonderfully neutral Midwestern Accent. If there was a High English, it should be in that accent.

But there are different British accents. I enjoy the Beatles/Queen Elizabeth version, but the Ozzy Ozbourne/Sex Pistols/pirate accent is very abrasive. (sorry if I offend someone, I didn't mean to.) And as for the American East coast accents, I'm not a big fan of a New Yawk accent, but loves me a Baaaasten (Boston) accent. Nawlins (New Orleans) is also very enjoyable. But going by the poll, I'm gonna vote Australian. I think local expressions weigh heavily into my decision, as well. Bob's your uncle.
