so tell me again, why did these three tractors get driven into a *()%^ lake?

It was not always a lake, it was once a normal everyday field. ( Actually, it was a normal field just three hours before )

The middle one got stuck and sunk to its axles, the one on the right came to its rescue and also sank to its front axle when it tried to pull the first one out.

So, in his great wisdom, he called in the one on the left with the dual wheels and, somewhat unsurpriseingly, it also sunk to its axles.

You will have to ask him why he drove into the ONLY wet part of the field.

But I am waiting for him to explain it himself.

So.... why not do something SMART like use a longer chain and stay out of the water?

The hard frost thawed

The dunce driver put twice as much weight on the trailer as he should have

When the selfsame driver began to sink, rather than stopping he floored it

They were the longest chains that he could find

he told the other two tractors that there was little chance of them sinking, then they did

after an eight hour operation all three tractors were free


All of these things occured.

HOWEVER, as any good con would do, I blamed someone else ........

Is more or less what happened, the rest come from his " Book of excuses "

Looks like a crane was needed for that mess.

He just used two fifteen tonne diggers with bogmaster tracks to rescue the first one, the two diggers with the rescued tractor to get the second then the two tractors and one digger to get the third.

So when do you get to play in the mud again?
