Normally I don't give a damn about American Idol or the British show that spawned it. However a bunch of papers here in NYC have been talking about it so I had to go to youtube and see what the hell the commotion is.

I seen that last Saturday night and I admit I thought oh god here we go...
Then she went and done that!!!!! My father has been in the entertainment business for 40 years and he said he has never heard anyone ever sing with such a tremendous voice with no music to carry her.
Ramjet, Galvatron you guys know what I mean and all you other music heads out there.
She is amazing!

Simon, as some of you may know, is famous in the US for being a cynical jack***. People have said they WANT to have him insult them.
I loved the look on his face through the whole thing.
What an amazing voice, from such a plain, unassuming woman. Lesson about books and covers, anyone?

That was fantastic. I like when that happens, just to remind everyone for a second not to instantly judge someone when you see them, because often people are so different underneath. :3
