How should I ship vintage toys to Peru?

Post by bteague2009 »

I need to know how I should describe the items. The bidder of my auction resides in Peru and "toys and dolls" of all kinds are on the prohibited item list. Any suggestions? Also, if I mark the item as a gift, do I still need to describe the contents? Thank you.

Maybe just "collectibles"?

Collectibles seems like a good idea, otherwise I would just ask the buyer.

Still that seems like an odd class of items to restrict. It makes me wonder if any of my international shipments where detained in customs, because I never thought to check if toys where restricted. I just assumed if someone bought something they knew they could receive it.
