I moved last week from my previous apt to this apartment.

Well I have been piggybacking my wireless network from my old apartment (left my router and modem over there). The landlord is flipping that apartment this week. So tomorrow, I am removing the modem and router.

The phone company won't be out for a week and a half or so to connect the phone lines, internet services, and cable. Guess it's time to get out some books and pop in some dvds since I can't go online and can't watch cable (at least TIVO has a few days worth of shows I can watch).

All of you guys and gals better not have too much fun while I am away. See ya all in a week or so.

Countdown's Journal-Day 3

Yesterday, the last of the TIVO ran out. I've seen every show on it. A freak rain storm ruined my collection of books and swept away all but 2 DVDs. Carrot Top's "Chairman of the Board" and a Dane Cook stand-up show. I fear I shall not see tomorrow...

@ TLA: That was almost an exact duplicate of my journal! How'd you get that? just kidding. Unfortunately, the tv was nearly the last thing to be moved (second to last actually). The TIVO ran out and panic DID ensue.

@ Stars: Thanks for the congrats. The gf and I have wanted for a long while to have some more room without having every piece of furniture in the house seemingly connected to the one next to it. We had an overcrowding issue. The apt we had was cramped. Now we have a two bedroom with a massive living room to relax in. We also wanted my collection to continue to grow (she supports me ) without having my collection over grow the apartment. We are already talking about getting another cabinet to spread the collection out so that it looks nicer (presentation wise).

I love how that its not that she puts up with me collecting - it is that she encourages and supports my collection.

that is always a plus when it comes to ones spouses lol
