anyone do repairs?

can anyone give me any tips on how to repair a g1 shockwave...his shoulders are seperating. =[

I've not had this one my self, but from what i understand, tehre are two long screw standoffs inside that have broken from the plate they are attached to. Basically, your screws are screwed into two long tubes, but those tubes don't attach at the other end. If you go forward with this, you'll need some strong plastic epoxy. Don't waste your time with super glue.[/i] The good news is, I don't think you can see the repair from outside once it's done. Good luck!

shoulder separation issues are the worst, for shockwave...the best solution is to buy a junker without shoulder separation issues (or any other issues involving those 2 particular mold halves) and do replacement surgery. If you're in a pinch, you can make longer machine screws work, but it's a pain in the butt and still doesn't quite look right if not much of the screw anchor remains.
