Guns N' Roses
(aaah yes the late 80's.....memories)

Axle W. Rose
Slash
Duff McKagen
Steve Adler
Izzy Stradlin

Then it went on to be

Axle W. Rose
Slash
Duff McKagen
Matt Sorum
Gilby Clarke

Now it's
Axle W. Rose
Gilby Clarke
and a bunch of boneheads.

Best album of all time for rock n' roll is
APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION 1987
with hit singles like
Welcome To The Jungle
Sweet Child O' Mine
Paradise City
and other great songs like Outta Get Me
Anything Goes
You're Crazy.

LIES 1989
the first half of the 8 songs were live recordings from 1986
Mama Kin is an Aerosmith cover
Move To The City is a good song
the second half is all new acoustic music
the main single Patience
and some other good songs like Used To Love Her
and an acoustic version of You're Crazy

Then it started going downhill

USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II 1991
2 cd's sold seperatly so they can make more drug money.

You Could Be Mine is one of the biggest singles and from the T2 movie soundtrack.
Don't Cry & November Rain were some other singles that got overplayed.
It's like the only 2 videos MTV ever played back then.

Then finally in 199????
THE SPAGHETTI INCIDENT
the whole cd is cover songs from other artists.
they do a Soundgarden song
they do a Nazareth
and some other songs
and a song written by Charlie Manson.

The broke up shortly after this album and the leader Axle Rose had his head enlarged to think that he is an icon.
He has been mentioning of releasing a new GNR album for quite some time now. He and his new band played the MTV video awards a couple years ago. That was horrible to witness.

If you want to buy any GNR cd, get APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION.
It's the best.

To know others you must know yourself first!

The bigger they are the bigger thud they make when they fall!!!

Whenever I think of GN'R I think of that music video where Axle blatantly shoves his tongue down that chicks throat.

The music is good (I have almost all of the CD's) - but that guy is gross.

First 4 songs were recorded in a studio with "audience (Spelling) tracks" added.

A lot of people really like the illusion albums.

I wouldn't say it was horrible to witness, just a bit awkward. Plus Axl sounded terrible.

Live Era is a good one to get also.
