power knit

Post by meeshabot »

Hey New Internet Friends!

I knit my first hat ever!!!

I know they're 'Con colors, but purple is my favorite. The flash kind of mangled the pattern I stitched. And the hair is not intended to be emo, I'm just trying to hide my horrible, disfiguring scar!

Cool! I've tried my hand at knitting but it hasn't worked out...

I love purple too, though stupid Deceps have ruined it for me. :x

Scar, huh? You can't possibly expect to say something like that and not have us asking questions!

:(

If it makes you feel any better, I have a left eye and I'm still totally blind.

If I were you I would totally get an eyepatch--soooo badass. I bet you could find a purple one easy.

No, dude, I'm totally messing with you.

But regardless, if I didnt have an eye: glass eye all the way. and instead of a pupil and iris I want a compas rose.

My highschool shakespeare teacher had a glass eye, she shot it out with an arrow. :(

Good Job! Great colors.

I've never tried knitting, I've tried crocheting though. I've been working on a blanket for about 3 years now, I think I'll be done in another 50 or so.

Is that a dance pad I see in the background? DDR?

I love those dancing games, but I only play them at home. I feel like a moron if I play them at an arcade. :P

Yes, I'd love to see pictures of the baby blanket!

You are an excellent knitter. I really am quite impressed.

Purple is my favorite color as well, but the cons have nothing to do with it.

Also I suck at DDR.

I got scars so it's nothing to be ashamed of.
I got them all over my abdomen. I had experimental surgery back in 1990.
My appendix bursted and the poison compressed my intestins into a little ball. So the docs had to cut me open like a disected frog.

Heart surgery? Damn! Did you get too excited when you heard about the upcoming movie or something?

I have a scar on my abdomen too.

Is this going to turn into a "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" thing. :P

I have a scar across my belly button. When I was a baby I had a hernia and had to be operated on when I was only a few months old. so my brother and sister used to make fun of me saying I have no belly button, as the surgeon didn't do a good job of sewing me back up, at the time tho sueing ppl wasn't a big thing so nothing was done about it, too late now almsot 30 years later.

Nice hat btw!

I have scars all over... I'm almost like the Zangief character from SFII

No, I don't wrestle bears, but I have many scars indeed. Two in my face which are notorious, from a car accident. One behind my ear - can't see which one -, childhood adventure. Both knees and multiple on my right arm, because of my affition to bicycle riding (Good thing I always use helmet! Nevertheless, once I got hit in the groin going downhill.... Don't know if I have a scar there, but I should).

However the gem is on the left side of my butt - a spider bite me. It was poisonous (there's only one spider who can be lethal here and it was exactly that one) so it made me a scar. It bite me while I was sleeping. Now any spider I see in close range freaks me out.

lesse, one on my foot from a burning penny (don't ask), one on my temple from this roudy kid klobbering me with a music box, one on my forehead from barreling into a shopping cart when i was three, one from every last chicken pox (luckily none on my face), knees, including one from this year... ran straight over the edge of a cliff at full speed, and one on the back of my wrist from who knows what, and my hands are lightly speckled with scars in general.

Wow guys.

I don't have scars so much as burns; two very noticeable ones on my hand and one on my wrist from working at a pizza place. One is from about four years ago now and still hasn't faded completely.

And speaking of burns, I bet the burning penny story would be a great one.
