Alternate mode hmmm... theres alot to choose from. This will do for starters though:
A Vauxhall Monaro.
Will have to find some more and add them to the list.
Rumble.
Thats just a pretty commodore one of the most common cars on the road here lol
As for rumble I recon the monaros' brother might be more fitting
oh, how did I miss that... more to the point, how did Galvy miss it?Ramjet wrote:So, not "gina' as in Regina, Canada?
(no one's getting my sort of filthy play on words, ala "Forty Year Old Virgin")
@ Cyclone - no idea what that is. It's engine mountings look crazy!!
Here's another nice looking Alt mode, the Mazda Furai;
Jetfire is a robosexual
Its an experimental soviet long range bomber designed to fly under radar coverage through weird physics. The idea being that it starts out of a port, continues barely above the ocean to the shore and then bombs its target. The problem was, it couldn't handle not perfectly flat terrain. I'll see if I can find the designation.

It flew like a few m above the surface or something, at ridiculous speeds. That picture depicts it flying. It's so low, the air current over its body make waves like a boat through the water, which it's not touching.
Yes. it was for transport... missiles!!! See them weird tubes on top, angled slightly up?
This one is equipped for anti-sub warfare. The biggest one, the KM, is somewhere at the bottom of the caspian sea, i think. Go google some pictures. I've also read that you can see two of the remaining ekranoplans on google earth.
Oh, those Russians...

Good stuff TT,
the 'caspien sea monster', its the worlds heaviest lift aircraft. Over 1000 tonnes cargo capacity or a soviet marine division. It utilises what is know as 'ground effect' greatly reducing drag and increasing its efficency. It creates a cussion of air. Theoredically it can travel across land too in 'ground effect mode'. Or sacrifice cargo capcity for altitude(requires lenghtened wings)
It is higher and longer than the wright bros flight at kittyhawk. After seeing an AN-225 in Russia, and knowing that that thing is bigger agian is just astonishing.
OH I want a madza now
