Movie Suggestions

Post by Delita-1 »

BESIDES THE OBVIOUS - I'm looking for some movie suggestions. I have at least 8 hours worth of car rides to sit through this weekend & I'm trying to think of some good movies to watch on the way.

What sort of movies do you like? Horror, Exorcist, the original Amityville or my favourite is a Vampire film called Salems lot, the original. Also any of the blade movies are good. Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels or Snatch (which was the sequel to the former). Comedy the Scary movies or Airplane. That is the funniest film I have ever seen. Airplane 2 was good as well. Was that any help?

I hate 'chick flicks' but I like any other kind of movie. I've seen all of the ones you mentioned except Amityville. Maybe I'll give that one a try.

Have you read the book Salem's Lot? I liked the movie, but I really loved the book.

Can't find the book!! Give it a go, its old but its a true story and is very good. Amityville horror to give it it's proper title.

The Exorcist deserves a better atmosphere than being in a car... You have to be alone in a house with wooden beams and flooring which starts to crackle when it's cold in the night. I couldn't sleep for some hours after that...

I'd recommend either any Seinfeld or Curb your Enthusiasm DVD. Clever and cruel humor which will make your trip a lot lighter.

I almost did...

All those movies with ouija boards give me the creeps. I'm not supersticious, but those things.... Yikes.

The last movie that creeped me out that bad was The Ring. I think the older I get the easier I get scared, you'd think it would be the opposite.

It should be the opposite, but the older you get the more wary of things you get.

I have yet to find a horror movie that has scared me or really creeped me out. Then again I have been watching that type of movie since I was about 2 years old.

Salem's Lot is acutally a good ol' classic Stephen King movie
We have all the King movies on Dvd.

But you should obviously watch, Transformers: The Movie

And if you have any of the G-1 box sets, watch those as well.
They will give you hours of entertainment.

One of my most favorite movies of all time is 'Slingblade'
That movie is freaking awsome.
