you are correct on the target warranty ratchet. manufacturer warranty supercedes it. has been about a week and my xbox is "being repaired" as per Microsoft. speed it up jerks!

So yeah, my xbox works fine now... but now my Tv is going out!

When I first turn-on both tv and xbox, the tv just gets a spastic static screen... I have to flip the channels from 4 to 3 then back to 4 to get a picture. Then while I play or watch a dvd, the picture slowly starts loosing color and the sound gradually gets static feedback! I can flip the channels back and forth and it returns to normal but then it happens again normally within 10 minutes. Damn you RCA! I don't care if the Tv is 12 years old, Work dammit!

Anyways thats my rant for today.

that reminds me of an old RCA console tv i had. to power it up/down you had to hit the side of it fonzy style. aaaaaaaaaaayyyyeeeee. sounds like an excuse for a new plasma for you catalyst.

Yeah I was going to get this Samsung 27 inch with my income tax return last year, but then I got back only half of what I thought I was and couldn't afford it...

Now I could start saving for a new tv, but it will cut into my Transformer purchasing...

When I had to send mine in, I think it took just a little over two weeks to get it back... I figure If mine ever red-rings again I'll save up to get an Elite.

One of my friends on xbox live has three at his house. The dad, mom, and oldest son all play. The dad has the ELITE and he just got his red rings of death. The mom called and they said it will be $120 or so. She said no way am I paying for this a third time. In the end she is going to send it and get it fixed for free.

does the elite have a better heat sink? am i saying that right. it is amazing that microsoft can't improve on the 360's design. they probably are just saying screw it until the next gen comes out
