...but the new trailer for Iron Man 2 is good enough to warrant its own topic!

At first I wondered why in the world Whiplash (not that Tony has a great Rogue's Gallery), but they have laid my doubts aside already.

Oh, and may I add, WAR MACHINE!!!

You say, "Well, D'uh" but need I remind you of many comics to movie translations that did not get the love shown here?

Short list includes:

Superman = date rapist
X-men: Dead Cyclops and Prof X
Hulk's dad
Bayformers
and Batman (oh, the humanity!!!)

Superman: Not exactly finished or anything...

X-Men: Reboot seems likely with Marvel having its own Studio now, and with reboots of both the Hulk and The Punisher (even if TP was terrible)

Hulk's dad? Wha?

TFLA: Not over, either. With RotF having even better success (commercially), more sequels are likely.

Batman: Chris Nolan films aren't over yet. Endof.

Not trying to start an argument/debate here, but your list seems a bit generalized. I'd almost agree with F4, but that is somewhat likely to get a reboot, as well.

Either way, I do see your point, but nonetheless, none of those are concrete.

And what is Hulk's dad?

other than the fact that the 1st iornman by marvel was close to the lines of the comics along with DareDevil Elecktra even the new batmans are close to the dark knight line are all also close to the comics with enough differences for people who havent read the comics and graphic novels to fallow..........

Hehehe don't forget that Marvel is owned by Disney - anything can happen

Can't wait to see Iron Man 2. Never really bothered about the first one until my Downey Jnr obssessed fiancee made me watch it, and i have to say it rocks big time! Can't wait for the sequel! Only discovered three days ago Samuel L. Jackson is in the first move - albeit at the very end of the credits talking up a certain project i'm sure Marvel fans would love

hulks dad was the lizard. dr. connor(s) from the spiderman line.

if i am not mistaken, it has been so long since i even thought about my old comic collection so i might have forgotten something.

Actually, I was referring to the Nick Nolte character from the 2003 film.

However, in this case, it seems that it does not matter what they put into a movie for some folks, as long as they can remake the franchise within 5 years.

As long as the inevitable (hopefully) Transformer movie trilogy remakes in the near future are more to their G1 roots and designs than they currently are 8)
