i still function...!

But like the Omnibots before me, it has been my destiny to fight a war in another universe.

And i'm losing.

(You call it role-playing; i call it a metaphor.)

i need reinforcements.

Talk to me, Earth! We got a situation out here! Roger me! Wilco me! Anything! Hello, hello, Earth!

What have i missed?

What's new?

Who's new?

Who's gone?

Who's back?

i guess i'll find out--and hopefully, i'll find myself among the ones who are back.

Welcome back, Dirge, Dinobot, Rumble... Skywarp? Time Traveller [/hiatus]? New Father Trance? "Knightshade"... Grimlock... Welcome newcomers, DK Prime, Dai Atlas, Wreck-Gar... Apologies to anyone i've missed (in this thread or others), but i trust the rest of the TFL roster to be properly welcoming and, Primus permitting, i'll be back again soon and you can chastise me then.
One shall stand; one shall fall; and the one who stands shall help the one who falls to stand once again.

I've thought of it before but it has never turned into reality.

I do work a lot and don't know if I would post daily, and for some unknown reason I am aprehensive about it. Perhaps, because I haven't done a rp before. Perhaps since I don't alway feel particularly creative.

I might be willing to give it a shot, though.

I was kind of like you countdown. I cant post daily, but thats how the RP works. You dont have to post everyday and it still works great. Its pretty fun.

Thank you thank you thank you for the warm welcomes; now, if i could just get this kind of a welcome at BotCon... (i've never been to a BotCon, or any convention for any fandom; no money, no transportation.)

Countdown, i don't know what to tell you about RPs except that it can be a lot of fun, and (within certain limits) more players can make it even more fun. i totally understand about being apprehensive, though--sometimes i can't post every day, either (or every month, or every year  )--so no pressure. Join us if/when you're ready, if/when you want to. i will say that i spend a lot of my not-posting time thinking about posting and wanting to post this or that, so if you come up with something you'd like to add, it might be worth adding, without worrying about whether or not you'll be able to follow up on it later, or ever.

Hey--we've got OOC (Out Of Character) discussions of the RP now; maybe that's someplace you can "dip your toes in the water"? Start talking about ideas for your character, possible plotlines for the game in general and/or your character in particular... See if you come up with anything that really motivates you to get in the game, or find out more definitively if maybe it's not the thing for you.

As for never being part of an RPG before, hey--first time for everything, right? And as for not feeling creative, i remember a quote i once read in a magazine about video games: "Not everyone is J. R. R. Tolkien, but everyone has something interesting to say."

And as they say at Transformers Mosaic, "What's your piece?"
One shall stand; one shall fall; and the one who stands shall help the one who falls to stand once again.

Chasing Autobots has made me run a bit short of breath lately.
But I did catch one yesterday.

It just proves I still got it

Congratulations on the mini-con! He's adorable! I like the picture of the lizard too. I'm going to have to send him a wrench or something.

Anyhoo...

I hope that the rest of you are doing well too! Thank you all for the kind greetings back. :D
