TRON!!!

Post by Dinobot »

Okay, surely im not the only one who loves Tron here. I have all of the original toys as well as the new ones. I went as Tron for halloween, and im going to the premiere of the movie in my costume. I upgraded it a little bit, so it looks even better. Im going to the opening night of Tron in IMAX 3D and I am so friggin excited! I have been longing for this movie for many years, and now, its a reality. I've also been playing it for the xbox 360, and it gives a glimpse into events just before the movie. Its got me stoked! After the movie, there's a retro 80's bar in town that has the original arcade in it. It will be a Tron filled weekend, with lots of fun coming along. I will be taking pictures. Who else is going opening night?

I seem like I have A.D.D. when it comes to Tron.

Well I went and saw the movie. I know most probably wont agree with me, but Tron Legacy is not only the BEST movie of 2010, but it is in the running for the best movie of all time! IMO of course. I also went as one of the good guys and had a couple other friends there dressed up as well. Here's a pic of all of us just after we saw it. Tons of people were wanting pictures of us together as well as ones with them. It was such an awesome movie, and great time afterwards.

Cool outfits!
I'm tempted to see the movie as well, so if I get the opportunity I'll definitely do that!

Something tells me blue...

But I can't wait to see it, even if I've not seen the original.

Although I'm sure it won't be the best film of 2010 in my eyes. That honor goes to Inception *fangirl squeal*

Blue. I made most of the costumes, with a little help on my buddy's leather jacket. The two girls had to sew the thing on the way to the movie in with it on him in the back seat of the truck. It was interesting. He kept yelling everytime I hit a bump and they poked him. Its all el wire and AA battery packs with each strand of wire. Its pretty awesome. I didnt have time, but i was gonna sew my disk on my back.

On halloween I was riding to different parties on my motorcycle with the suit all lit up. It was great to see all the expressions on peoples faces in traffic.

The bad thing about the original Tron on dvd is you're gonna spend an arm and a leg to buy a copy of it. Ii have had mine since the 20th anniversary edition came out. Those go for about $75 on eprey now which sucks.
