TT's Sweden Trip Debreifing
Sorry it has taken me so long to return to you! Due to flight delays, I arrived home about four hours before work Monday morning, and it has taken me all week and then some to catch up on necessities.
I have brought with me an exciting Transformerland first (click to expand)...
That's us. Don't see it? Look closely.
That's it.
Some of you have been around long enough to remember that we met here, on this very forum, some threeish years ago. I could not be more proud to announce here, where it began, our engagement to be married!
Oh, and as promised, here's a bunch of snow in Sweden:
Yes, don't worry, I'll post more relevant pictures as time allows.

I'm told I tell "guy details" about the engagement, but here it is.
Minerva is planning on moving here to the states. We're currently in the process of paperwork and red tape that must be contended with for her to get the initial visa to come here, at which point we file MORE paperwork for her to stay here. We're hoping for the best as how long this will process, but the minimum time until she can get here to stay is probably 5-6 months. We're already working on other logistics as far as moving all her toys and other possessions here.
As for the wedding itself, it's nearly impossible to plan, since we have no idea what sort of roadblocks the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) or the DHS will throw in the way, and how that would affect when she can get here. Hopefully not many, and hopefully soon!

So, here's a kind of funny story.
What the function, man? You're not Mirage. You're not Spy Changers. What, you think you're invisible? You're right there! i even clicked to expand to view the full image!
So while everybody else was scrutinizing the picture, i was analyzing the words to see if i missed something.
Oh... "Don't see it"... Don't see what?
Now i can scrutinize the picture.
...OH! She's got an energon crystal on her 4th left finger! That must mean...
CONGRATULATIONS! (...er, Botgratulations?)
Time Traveller and Minerva, unite!
Oh, by the way--TT, Bombshell was outside looking for you... He said he did the job, and you were supposed to pay him, or something? ;-)
So who popped the question, and how? Was the person being asked pleased with the way the other person did the asking? Was the proposal a surprise, or has this been in the works for a while? (since Minerva has already decided to leave Sweden...)
Oh, and look what i found.
Also relevant?
And here's a picture of those Swedish clouds, as seen from the cockpit of TT's fighter jet mode:
'Til all are one... or at least until the two of you are!
Omnicongratulations again!
Only for some reason i accidentally read it, "Don't see us? Look closely."Time Traveller posted a picture, and wrote:That's us. Don't see it? Look closely.

i think she gets a say in what we call them, and i think she just said it.Minerva wrote:@ Galvatron - Mr. and Mrs. Time Traveller? I like the ring of that. :)

Hey all! Good news and bad news. USCIS called me today while I was at work. It sounds like they intend to grant us the Fiancee visa, and quite a bit earlier than we expected! However, there are quite a lot of costs involved in immigration, including around $50,000 that must be payed to the US Dept. of Homeland Security, who handles all these affairs.
Unfortunately, that's waaaaay more than I make in a year, and despite my savings from living at home, I need to raise some extra money so she can come here soon. I really only have one thing of value... so I'll be having to sell most of my mighty transformers collection off. I'll probably keep a few like Fort Max, but I think you'll be seeing the rest through TFL store in the next couple of months. YES, I KNOW I always advise people to not sell their collection, and just take a loan instead, but because I've never had a credit card, or taken a car loan, I have doink for a credit score. Keep your eyes open, I have a lot of nice and rare items!

Maybe you know some fellow TransFans (with better finances than mine) to whom you could pawn your TFs? Like taking out a loan, only using TFs as collateral and friends as bankers?

Thanks for the concern, everyone, we really appreciate your suggestions... I've gotten a few on MSN too.
Also, I'll remind you that yesterday was April first... and NOTHING happens that fast in the US Government. April Fool's!
Don't worry, I'll never sell my transformers.
You'll have to pry them from my COLD, DEAD HANDS!
That sentiment goes for Minerva too, but hopefully I won't be clutching her with cold dead hands anytime soon.
