In the unreleased 1984 Transformers movie/pilot, the Decepticon space shuttle was named Rampage. The movie was phenomenally unpopular, with test audiences demanding numerous changes. Among their complaints were that Megatron should be GUNN NOT MUNKY, and Orion Pax should be named Optronix "like in the books". Also by popular demand, the Transformers cartoon series and movie that were ultimately released included added Human characters (the original version had none) and removed all references to Primus.

i was kidding, Nemesis Prime. :-D (If i misunderstood, and you weren't actually fooled by my little gag, then i guess you fooled me!) i don't think there was a 1984 TF movie, unless you count the 3-part TV series premiere "More Than Meets The Eye"--hardly a feature length film. (You of all people might be expected to know that the Decepticons' ship in "More Than Meets The Eye" was called the Nemesis, but i think even that name was made up by writers long after the show aired, and the show aired without ever calling the ship by any name.) The "GUNN NOT MUNKY" comment was a parody of a parody: When Beast Wars made Optimus a gorilla, G1 purists complained that Optimus should always be a truck, and others who thought those purists were being too inflexible parodied the complaint with cries of "TRUKK NOT MUNKY". (Similar things have happened to a lesser degree whenever someone named Megatron has been anything other than the gun Megatron was in G1.) Both Orion Pax and Optronix are names given to Optimus Prime from before he became Optimus Prime, but both names were made up for flashbacks, long after stories were written and released with the character using the name Optimus Prime. Humans were always meant to be characters in the Transformers story (since the target audience was, after all, mostly made up of Humans), and... i don't know who made up Primus or when they introduced him to the G1 comics, but some TransFans actually complain about Primus being excluded from the cartoon (not about his being included like i jokingly said he was) even though i don't think the cartoon was ever intended to include Primus.
