Got my MP Starscream a few weeks ago. I dont think ill ever regret buying him!!

I just came across a pic that made me NEED the MP megs.... a pic with him stood next to a MP starscream, so I can see how truly big he is(!)

With the MP seekers I have, an MP Megs stood at the end would be an absolute must....

I had my MP megs ealier today. He's currently menacing my classics prime (the Masterpiece one that is G1 orange] He comes with a flail, a laser sword, the small pistol he found in the G1 movie, kreezeek and of course his light up red fusion cannon. Unfortunately he can't hold the megatron pistol that comes with prime.

Well, since you're obviously a Decepticon, Blitzwing, there is only one sensible choice IMO

That said, some things of note that really differentiate them;

The MP Prime has lots of good, heavy die-cast parts.... He feels very very solid... Starscream is 99.9% plastic - he has one metal part where his front landing gear swings down, so he does feel somewhat flimsier than the Prime does. Starscream is still the better choice though, IMO, as his jet mode just takes your breath away... I happen to think that Skywarp has been the best looking MP seeker so far, with the G1 repaint SS coming a very close second. The overall paint job on the Takara/Tomy Skywarp feels better than the Hasbro G1 repaint SS.

Whichever you choose, you will be delighted with your choice, that's one thing I can guarantee

ok well thanks for the help im might buy prime just cuz i dont have many primes well i dont have many starscreams either man hard choice grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i think ill explode from the persurre

Good choice Blitzwing - I think for your first MP, a Prime or a Ultra Magnus is a good idea, as you get a real quality heavy TF for your money...

If you can afford the extra, I would recommend a Takara/Tomy version over the Hasbro as not only are their smoke stacks longer, but the overall finish is better.

Prime is more bang for your buck! Optimus is massive and heavy poodle killin' weight and comes with a lot of great little finger food like the rifle, energon axe, Leaderhip Matrix, (if you have the anniversary version the talking stand) and the sweet little Megatron gun!

The little Megs gun is almost better than the big Optimus! The scope, stock, and silencer actually comes off of the little gun.

It is incredible the detail they put into all the accessory pieces not to mention the figure itself.

Lordy I hope they make a Masterpiece Shockwave with lights and sound. I'll be buried with that thing!

You'll definitely want to lay your hands on a Masterpiece Megatron too! The pictures of him above make my mouth water and I'm becoming impatient for mine to show up. I'm actually going to take this one out of the box!
