hopefully you'll post those stop motion episodes.

i like mine out of the box too as my whole collection is from my youth. it's amazing how i remember how to transform all those damn things. somewhere streisand warbles into "memories"...

Brawn, those are in pretty spectacular condition for childhood toys! My toys are all like that, i was like you as a kid. Play carefully, and put them away so nothing gets lost, but alas, i was born to late to have my own G1s from new.

Brawn, is that a survaliance camera right above your TF shelf?

What a great idea!!!!!

It makes them 100 times cooler since they were your original toys, Brawn!

I can't believe Galv didn't make a dirty joke about Catalyst's post.
something about playing with boxes

Remember, each collector has there own style and pace when it comes to gathering there collection.

Soundblaster is one who likes MIB or MISB transformers. While this makes his collection great, keeping every TF in its box isn't for everyone.

Just don't go and look at the obsessive collection that belongs to DJ soundwave, you'll have a heart attack.
I'm trying to ultimately get where everything is MIB. I just picked up Bombshell, Shrapnel, Brawn and Swerve today and the 3 insecticon instructions. I will add Shrapnel and his instructions to the box I got last week. All the ones I've bought on Amazon/Toys r' US I've never opened because I know they are worth a fair amount more in box. The way I look at it, and it's just me, not for everyone, is that they are an investment that is fun to look at/play with. But they are ultimately an investment. I guess this is probably because that's what I was brought up on/learned/studied/did professionally. I'm also collecting Ghostbuster toys for the same reason. I can't play with my shares of Target and U.S. Steel, but I can sure as hell duke it out between my open g1's =)

Someone about 5 years ago got me a Armada unicron and I thought hey this guys pretty cool and then i remembered i had in an old box which had a few g1 transformers from my childhood... They were hook, mixmaster, bonecrusher and long haul.. so i searched the local auction site for a wee while tracking down scrapper and scavenger and then uh yeah kinda wanted everything after i got them... so estimate collection time has been 5 years i think . :) Oh and whoever it was that said my seacons were crap .. lol you werent wrong.. they arent the best but hard to find over here in nz in good condition.

And this is my most recent addition to the collection

primetime at the current rate your transformers and ghostbusters are worth more than your stock shares!

i like the idea of having the boxes and all. the only box i have is for kup. don't ask me why i saved it.

Would it be possible to get pics of the tapes in robot form? Someof them look a little strange to me.
