Sheesh, ok then, hidden TF's, just like we've all said and you just confirmed, oddly-placed TF's at your store. Dosn't matter how long they have been there, or whatever, just do what my first post says-Share whacky locations of TF's. Thank you PD. Geh....

I don't guess you get internet jokes. :P

Y'see, since text doesn't exactly convey tone, puns are much more easy.

OK guys, let's bring it back.

Working retail, I've found out the 'reason behind the madness' of randomly placed stuff like this. They like to put random stuff out of its section, hoping that you'll come looking for one thing, say DVDs, and leave with a DVD and a Transformer, too. Though, i AM a bit surprised they'd put such a large item out of its area, they usually use a cheap, "why the heck not" type item.

No, the whole Devastator thing refers to how few have been sold. ;)

There were, however, several Jolts in that section. But by now they're been replaced twice: First by GI Joe, then by Twilight/New Moon.

Yeah, Jolt was lurking in the movies, but our Wal-mart has a thing of moving stuff around alot. ALOT. So im sure that contributes in someway to the wiers placement.

Well, I think TT remembers, when he was here, there were some oddly placed TF's at one of my local Wal-Marts (well, oddly placed according to me). I had been searching for ROTF Fallen and Jetfire for like a month with no luck. Along comes TT and finds them both during the few short days he was here. They were 2 aisles down from the main TF aisle where I always and exclusively look...I think they were mixed in with the little kids toys, if I remember correctly, way up on the top shelf.

But I did manage a couple times to find 6" Titanium figures I needed in the storage shelves above the racks at Toy R Us, as Skywarp mentioned, that's a great tip!

Highwalling: Putting excess product in the same department above head level to keep stockroom neat. Most employees don't look which specific figures they highwall.

TT REMEMBERS.... *Swirly scene transition to early August*
"Yeah, I can't find a Voyager Fallen anywhere, I've been checking all the time."
"Really? He hit shelves like two months ago. ~I~ found one."
*Trance looks at voyagers* "well, there's not one here"
*TT turns the corner, looks at large TF promotional display in next aisle (also boy toys)* "Hey Matt, I found a couple here."

Ah, yes. My nose is for transformers like a bloodhound is for blood. That, and I usually turn the corner around the endcaps of the action figure aisle.

A while back my local Wal-Mart had all their Universe Ultra Class Powerglides in the middle of the aisle that leads to the side of the store. I think he was right in front of the bathroom towels and what not's. There was a stack of them, just sitting there and getting hit by peoples shopping carts. It was obvious that no one was buying those guys either.

Okay...Guess I'll date myself yet again. Back in 1988, I was in a Ben Franklin store in Muleshoe, Texas. I had looked around briefly and didn't see any transformers, but as I was starting to walk out the store I turned around.....

There up high in the overstock, were bunches of G1 transformers! That day I got the entire G1 Dinobots, all the G1 Seeker jets, and a few other prized G1 figures. I nearly screamed like a girl I was sooo excited with my gold mine find! (LOL) :D

I was going to hide the last ROTF Bludgeon I seen last night in Wally World. Hid him in about 3 different spots....made a loop around the store....got paranoid and finally went back and paid for him. Hmmmm....now I have to hurry back and grab a ROC Night Raven while it's on clearance still.
