NIce haul Des! However I don't really like the Energon Combiners.
I have Bruticus Maximus, Superion Maximus and Constructicon Maximus. I don't like the sorry magnetic connectors they use to combine.
Mine don't want to stay together and come apart easily when picked up. Also they don't have very good leg support or feet support and fall over too easily. I was disappointed with them.

Oddly I've got the opposite problem with this one. he won't come apart once combined.
[but yes the classics devastator I have loves to collapse of his own accord]

Hey Dez - Oilslick looks pretty neat. I think I like the barricade better though! How much would that combiner (Barricades) set me back approx?
Heres my latest Haul:
Ultra Magnus (basic series), Seaspray, Cosmos, Landfill (w/ Targetmasters Flintlock & Silencers), Micromasters Six Train (Quick Change System Knockoff) & Battleship Robot, Searchlight, & Rollbar
The basic series (UM) has a pretty decent transformation. I am kinda impressed with it even though it is simple.
I also got my first Targetmaster. I vaguely remember owning him as a youngin' and I had to rebuy him.
The Micromaster knockoff is pretty neat too! I love it. Unfortunately one of the trains looks like the paint never dried and was smeared pretty badly (but its a ko so who cares

) It came with a bonus Battleship robot which is neat. But, it isn't a micromaster per se and it just seems odd to have another type of robot in there thats not of the same type. The have two other of this ko in the TFL store but, I already own the real versions of those.
This entire haul is thanks to Trance and his excellent selection. Thanks Trance!

$60-$80 for that version.
If you can wait hasbro is reissueing the combiner as a single $50 set {and superion maximus} sometime next year as part of the classics/universe 2.0 line.

sorry to say, guys, but the energon combiners are not magnetic. what you're seeing is a really big rivet head. there is a click-together socket on the smaller guys, but since it's meant also to rotate, it has double the stress and is more prone to failure for this reason. if i recall, i have one character that falls off easy, but it is very hard to rotate once he's on. Hasbro would have been better off having something similar to G1's scramble city combiners... the peg inserts into a cuff, and the cuff rotates within it's own cuff, rather than just the peg rotating. that way, the inner cuff can apply all its strength to holding in the peg, and the outer cuff can spend its strength resisting rotation to allow posability.

they just don't make toys the way they used to anymore

I would like to hope the Transformers 2 movie Devastator combiner, if he's to be in it, the toy will have the peg/rotate cuff on it. I highly doubt it!

@ Rodimus Prime - Ironhide looks pretty awesome! I love his weapon!
@ Sentinel Prime - Great lookin' Stormcloud. Does it have a symbol where the heart used to be on Powerglide?
@ Ramjet - Here's a clearer pic (as clear as I can do). Looks like he is the evil twin of Man-O-War. He came with a Six Train Knock off set called 'Quick Change Transforming System.' Trance had one of him, perhaps he will have another?
I have more knock offs of this series arriving soon. Will post pics when they are available.

Ok technically he's not a transformer, but he transforms jus tlike the gestalts of old. Then he has awesome posability. Someone should make a devastator like him. First off here he is.

Second is the three amigos. I think Voltron is actually a mediator for these two.

Then a shot at the cool stuff on the top of my entertainment center. Yes thats a tyco transformer race track in the back.

VERY COOL stuff you got there Dinobot!
I got in the mail today a cool
Votron Devender of the Earth Camera Robot! He stand over 8 inches tall and is an actual working camera that takes 110 film. (Can you even buy 110 film anymore???) He's in mint condition!
The next two pictures is a group of my current collection various camera transformers: Voltron, KO Reflector, G1 Reflector and the little guy is the covertor Focus Robo:
