FINALLY got Swerve, just in time to, cause Prowl is about to be set loose. He is already on the TC Club site, sold out already.

well, i'm in houghton now, and the only alts are discounted to $15. one right and one left hand drive bluestreak, two meisters (one damaged box) and one sideswipe? if anyone wants something, let me know asap and i'll pick it up for you if it's still there.

2 Miesters, you could make a few bucks off them. More than 15 bucks worth, well, except the one with the damaged box.

Hey all. I'm a bit new to the Binaltech/Alt. stuff , but I totally love it (moreso the Takara versions).
I'm especially fond of how these new cars update the G1 (like many of you, I suppose).
Any exceptional sites out there which do a good job of showcasing the original G1 cartoon characters and/or toys (particularly with pictures)?

In the meantime, could you clear up this confusion: Who is 'Swerve' (from the original G1?) and who is 'Overdrive/Windcharger'? I can't seem to find their G1 counterpart info.

Thanks much!

Sweet! Thanks for the reply. I just checked this very site's picture listings of G1 toys, and the minibots section indeed includes both 'Swerve' and 'Windcharger'. Very cool.
Very interesting too, that they're updating those characters.
Makes me all the more wish they were able to work out doing Bumblebee as a new VW Bug (I heard VW didn't feel comfortable involving their designs in anything violent, ie. toys with guns).

Oh well, still plenty to buy and enjoy. 8)

VW would not allow it because Transformers are to War Like. Porsche said hte same thing, even though Hasbro had Protoype Jazz in a Porsche Boxster.

That's because they're under the same corporate umbrella. As i said before:

Thats because Binaltech is rather bombing overseas and in the US its a pain in the ass to find certain Alts. I think Swerve is the hardest one now.

I got lucky and found Swerve, Prowl, and Wheeljack on a cross country road trip back to Montana from N.C. And the only reason I stopped is cause my car battery died. It was the first and last time I've seen em in a store.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, 20th annv Prime rocks...

Prowl and Wheeljack are rather easy to find right now, with the likes of Swindle and Grimlock. D-Charge is just a little less easy, but once the new assortment hits(possable this month, but looking for 2 weeks of January), D-Charge is gone for good with Skids, Prowl, Tracks, and SUnstreaker coming at once.

I know, instead of Alert, we get him. I think Rollbar is a exclusive to Alternators. If I remember, he will be a retooling of Swindle in Orange, maybe with a topper?
