That roleplay sword is cool, I had no idea they existed! I'm sure it's as rare as hen's teeth.
Your Silverhawks collection looks gorgeous, those figures are getting hard to find in that nice of chrome condition.

After waiting six months I finally got a couple of Trick or Treat Studios Sword of Omens, and this thing is something else and well worth the wait and cost!

The packaging is gorgeous, and an honest to goodness homage with love to the original 1985 LJN Sword of Omens toy release.

The scale of this item is 1:1, or at least approximately that, and the attention to detail is insane! If Factory Entertainment had paid such attention to detail with their $600.00 offering as Trick or Treat did to this, I'd have bought one when they came out.

It's true this sword is made of plastic, but it is extremely strong and rigid plastic and does not flex or warp with force.

It has a button disguised as one of the jewels on the grip, and you press it on and off to control the light up Eye of Thundera, which is convenient because you don't have to apply constant pressure on the button as you do the LJN original.

The sword is also a two-hand grip, suitable for the type broadsword this would be if it were in "real life", and just as the cartoon version of the weapon, whereas other toy offerings (LJN's 1985 and Bandai's 2011 deluxe Sword of Omens) are a one hand grip.

It is as close to the animated version as you can get except for one detail, the hilt inlays should be a dark green, but I can live with that, and if it bothers me enough, I'll just customize the open one myself at some point.

Goodness knows I'm biased as can be, but this toy really is impressive and for $62.00 and $6.00 flat rate shipping, you can't do much better than this. It's great for an adult to play with and display because it is a show accurate and sturdy piece, and great for a child because it's fun, has the interactive light up display, and is light so it's' easily held/ wielded.

The claw shield was not included, is the custom I made years ago.
