*As the seekers look on at the strange bot, Soundwave approaches from one of the many hall ways in Kaon. Reaching the group he stops.*

"You are the bounty hunter that is to assist Megatron. He has sent a communication stating that you are to meet him in the former Autobot city of Iacon."

*Soundwave turns slightly and reaches up to press the eject button on his shoulder, causing Destoroyah to tense slightly.*

"Rumble eject, opereation escort."

*Rumble ejects and transforms, landing between the two larger bots.*

"Take him to the commander."

"Sure no problem Soundwave, it will be nice to get back out there." And away from the seekers...

*Rumble gestures to Destoroyah to follow and takes off.*

Destoroyah shrugs. The weapons mounted on his structure now evident. He moves to follow Rumble but being unable to fly without one of the rocket packs from his ship he trudges along the ground. Knowing Full well that Warstorm's 'Shatterhorn' drone would guide him to this Iacon place if he needed to use it.

*Turns to Thunderwing and Starscream*

"Before we can leave, I was ordered to gather a list of Decepticons. Who do we have so far? I'm just as anxious as you are Thunderwing to "make scrap metal out of some Autotwits!"

*Rumble turns and notices that the big bot can't fly.*

"Guess we're walking then."

*He lands and begins guiding him through the streets.*

Shrapnel looked at the newly arrived seekers. "If Lord Megatron has ordered us back to Iacon, we must leave at once, once."

He transformed to beetle mode, anxious to test out his leg repairs, and scuttled down the corridor. Once outside of Kaon, he launched into the air and flew toward Iacon.

*I turned to Thundercracker and said*
"It looks as though Starscream has left us, so we will return without him."

*We then left the hanger transformed and headed back to Iacon to await further orders from Commander Megatron*

*comes out of the men's room, sees Thunderwing and TC leave*

Hey!

*Transforms and shoots up alongside them*

* Dirge is so busy watching rumble that he doesnt see the walls of kaon and crashes straight into it he transforms and slides down the wall landing in a heap at the bottom *

" who put that wall there ? "

*Rumble touches down along side Dirge's crumpled body. He looks up at the wall and notices that there is no sign of the impact at all.*

"I guess that the armor on the walls has been upgraded. They have been busy while we've been gone. Com'n Dirge, lets see what progress has been made inside."

*Dirge gets to his feet and walks with Rumble to the main enterance. As they go they notice several new banks of laser cannons, not to mention missle turrets and long range scanners. They reach the main door and Rumble goes to open it. As he does so a small monitor falls down in front of him and Shockwave appears.*

"Halt, who goes there!"

"Hey Shockwave its me Rumble with Dirge. Open up will ya?"

"Ahh Rumble yes it is you. Oh hello to you as well Dirge. Now tell me the password and I will open the door for you. New secruity measure I am afraid."

*Rumble looks at Dirge and shrugs, no one said anything about a password.*

"Any Ideas?"

" open sesame ? "

* shockwave shakes his head *

" I will huff and puff and blow your house down "

* shockwave shakes his head *

* after half a breem of guessing dirge gets irritated *

" listen one eye open this door or I will release another batzilla to get you "

"It would be ilogical for me to open the door without the correct password."

*Rumble sees Dirge becomming fustrated but has an idea.*

"Dirge.... Look."

*Rumble points at the door and Dirge nods, seeing what Rumble is pointing at. Rumble transforms to cassette mode and Dirge posts him through the mail slot.*

"Oh I knew that was a bad idea, but what if someone wanted to send me a letter...."

*The monitor goes blank and lifts as Rumble opens the door from the inside.*

"Lets go."

* Dirge enters kaon and looks around *

" this doesnt look any different in here, we must get to the control room and report to megatron "

*As Dirge stepped inside Rumble shut the door behind him. Rumble examined the interior of Kaon for himself. Dirge was right it looked the same; the interior decor was still vintage Decepticon. However the fact that it looked like it used to meant that the repairs were coming along nicely, the roof and walls had been re-strengthened, the power restored throughout and the background hum of computer consoles filled the halls once more.*

"Your right Dirge this place looks just like it should do, lets go give Megatron the good news."

*The two 'cons head towards the control room.*

* Dirge and Rumble enter the control room, Dirge imitates Megatrons voice *

" Shockwave report "

*Shockwave is sitting at a computer terminal across the room, engrossed by whatever is on the monitor. Dirge's imatation startles him and he fumbles about turning off the monitor.*

"Lord Megatron, I was not expecting......"

*Shockwave turns to see Dirge and Rumble grinning*

"You two, I might have known. Why are you in Kaon's control room, there are no video games here? Perhaps you both wandered in while distracted by the bright lights?"

"Dirge already said why we are here one-eye, Megatron wants a progress report on the repair work. Can you give us that?"

*Shockwave stares at the two 'cons, his eye flashes several times before he speaks. He strides over to another console and brings up a holo display of Kaon. Sections of the map light up red as he speaks.*

"Currently the repairs to Kaon stand at 90%. The outer defenses have been upgraded and strengthend following the Autobot's last assualt. All armor plating has been increased by 25% at least throughtout the complex. Power is fully restored and several backup cores have been commisioned inorder to keep Kaon online if the main one is damaged again. New scanners have been installed increasing the range of detection by 37%, as well as allowing us to pick up 'Satalite TV' broadcast from Earth.... for free. The automated defenses have been reprogrammed to increase accuracy and response times, while the uplink to Iacon is fully established and now secure allowing remote firing from here. Also we have 5 new stores in the mall, a new wing at the zoo...."

"That should do fine Shockwave, we're gonna go let Megatron know."

*Rumble and Dirge head to the comms room down the hall and open a channel to Megatron. Rumble plays Shockwaves recorded report to him to bring him up to speed with the reapirs.*

*Barricade and Megatron speed into Kaon. Megatron leaps from Barricade and Transforms as Barricade Transforms behind him"


"End your report Rumble I am here! Now just tell me is there much more repairs to be made? I want to know NOW!!! There is much work to be done and I need to know that I can take you, Dirge and Rumble with me safe in the knowledge that Cybertron is secure."

*Rumble sees the Decepticon leader arrive at Kaon via the secruity monitors in the room.*

"Lets go Dirge, looks like Megatron wants a face to face report."

*As The two 'cons head to the courtyard and greet Megatron, Dirge pulls the wires out of a box marked 'Password control system'. He smirks at Rumble as they walk outside.*

"Megatron, we have consulted Shockwave regarding the repairs to the HQ. He tells us that they are currently at 90% Completion, with all essential systems in full working order excluding the arcade."

"Yeah, plus he put some stupid password system in, but we took care of that!"

*Dirge and Rumble hi-five each other.*

*looks down at Rumble"

"You have taken care of it? How? I trust that it is simple to operate?"

*Rumble looks at the clump of cables in Dirge's hand.*

"Well err... you won't need to worry about remembering the password. It kinda got broke just before you arrived."

"Rumble's correct, but it was a flawed system anyway. We need an actual gatekeeper to ensure the security of Kaon. I think Shockwave would be able to add that to his other responsibilities, after all he spends most of the time in the control room as it is."

"Yeah, he... err... already has a two-way monitor set up for it."

*The two 'cons look to each other before falsely smiling at Megatron.*

*Sees that Rumble and Dirge are trying to fool him*

"Then take me to Shockwave and his control room. As for a gatekeeper, we can reactivate some of the Guardian robots that Starscream and Octane found at Iacon."
