I accept it. I just don't like it
Seriously though, their heads are
very mis-shapen IMO..... they look anorexic and gaunt to me.

I didn't hate the movie but even after about 2 seconds of ny of those clips.
No true old style transformation it uses the beast machines warp transformations = very bad.
Even the movie shgowed the full transformations.
I accept one thing. After the do an average-good job with the luve action film we get a playskool TF series instead of something decent. If I was a new Tf fan (drawn by the movie) then this series would turn me away from TF's for good.
Hopefully hasblow will learn from this grave mistake and come back with something the fans will actually like... [With a different and superior animation style.]

have you ever sat and thought that this cartoon is not for TF fans?
Hasbro are not making a cartoon to make some 20-40 yr old TF fan want to buy toys. They want NEW fans, so the cartoon is aimed aat children.
why the heck does everything have to be approved of by fans? things change, I read marvel comics and I know character will come and go and books will come and go, why? because I know that they need new readers as well as hardcore long termers.
The the real deal of making money, Hasbro need new kids to start buying and hence the cartoon is for them, not us.

I do agree with you Rodimus - getting new fans is just as important for the future of the brand......
it doesn't change my opinions that their heads lok awful though..... the heads were the one thing that were consistent throughout the lines of TFs, even if the overall design of a character had changed. The heads just don't look right to me......

It will take a lot of getting used to, but then didn't we all dread the new movie? Not many were disappointed there...

Me? Just a big OP 'cause,...........he's OP. I'm not counting those Universe re-paints, those are cool! And I enjoy some of the Real Gears-damn! You got me! I'm a bit of a hypocrite. But as for movie characters, I only have a Voyager Prime and G1 re-paint Jazz, and I'm not so impressed with them.

Leader brawl is my favourite movie figure (despite his two guns falling off well you can't break them if they come off easily). Must get the lazerbeak real gear thing. Don;t know the name though.
[mind you though I like the movie starscream.] but not this new 'Chinscream' (from the animated thing.)

The red one Booster 10X and the blue one is Night Beat 7. Night Beat is an Auto-butt, but nothing a sticker won't fix!

Say what you want about the animation style (which is admittedly a bit lacking), they seem to finally be putting charater back into the characters!
Thanks for that link Arcee (and Rodimus by proxy).

I'm really looking forward to the show myself. A few voices seem a bit off, but I'll get used to them.
I think it's cool that SPongebob is Sarscream!!
Also the guy who does Johnny Bravo does Ultra Magnus

Plus the original voice of Arcee is back as...yeah, Arcee. lol

Sorry. IMO RiD was better then what this is turning out to be. Cartoons Network in general has really gone downhill with the quality and orignality and the "level" of funniness and comedy in their cartoons. Some of the series outright scare me and look horrible. Some are just plain dumb, like that Gym Monkey or whatever it's called.
I miss the "golden age" of Cartoon Network where they had decent cartoons like Johnny Bravo, Jonny Quest, Dexter's Lab, etc
RiD is my absolute favorite TF series. The show was pretty good but it's the toys that stand out. Really detailed and they matched their onscreen counterparts very well.

I agree there. The Tf' series up to the start of energon could please new fans and the older fans. [Although armarda is pushing that slightly.] It's kinda gone downhill from there.
Even though I find it horrid soem will undoubtably like this new stuff. I hope there's just one short series...
[PLus even the toys ain't any good for customizing ]
