Well, I'm proud to say she appreciates and enjoys the collection as much as I do. It's amazing to be told how ok it is to sit on the floor in my room and play with transformers! Maybe she doesn't realize exactly how much SPACE they take up... especially all the boxes of TF packaging currently hidden in the garage attic...

j/k. I have been looking for one to get him cheap but haven't found one yet.
Get him the new animated Megatron

The show may not be as good as G1, but just to have
some kind of transformers show on the air... it should make all of us swell with pride knowing that our later generations will have TFs shows and toys as well! KEEP IT ON THE AIR!

I don’t think there are many guys who would appreciate a girl with this kind of interest… he actually encourages me and offers to help me find items that I’m missing or looking for! How many guys would (or even could) do that?!

Not many I can assure of that!!

I don't know... I think your chances would be better being a girl that's into [insert supposedly nerdy hobby here] looking for a guy that is than they would as a guy into [whatever] trying to find a girl that is.

Not true Minerva....I know a lot of guys that would have bent over backwards to have a girl that was into there hobby. Inaddition to Transformers I build SF models..mostly Star Wars and Star Trek...My wife just doesn't get it..she just grins and nods and says Oh that's nice dear. Even though it may have taken me over 100hrs of work on a particular model. Consider yourself a lucky girl to have a guy that encourages your hobby.

This is why I am so thankful that Arcee puts up with me.
I have so many things I love, my comics, X-men, TF, Indiana Jones, Thundercats and many more. I could never realistically collect all the stuff I like now or loved as a child. But Arcee has similar tastes to me and I got her into TFs too
And not all female comic fans are that stereotypical goth chick or fat nerdy girl. Arcee is a stone cold hottie and she loves the same things I do, so I think I am the luckiest man alive

You're right Min - I collect on behalf of Mrs S all the time. I totally enjoy finding her Care Bears and My Little Ponies she hasn't got, even if they are girly toys
We're lucky to have each other, we're so like minded

Wow! Watch out, Arcee will totally kick your a$$.... what, I didn't change anything?

(j/k)
You're totally right RP - Mrs S isn't that typical comic book girl either... we're both lucky to have found a hottie who loves the same things we do.

I didn't know TF fans were so shallow. "More that meets the eye" anyone?

Well you could try to!
If I ever get it all out of storage I will take some pictures of my X-Men/Marvel collection, Rodimus, you'll die!

Hey! I represent that!
Well I don't wear black eyeliner or pretend to be a vampire.
Are there elderly goths? I mean that would be cool! 89 year old woman using a black painted walker with Hello Kitty stickers all over it wearing a black tank top, stud leather bracelet, fishnet stockings and Doc Martens.
Arcee is a stone cold hottie and she loves the same things I do, so I think I am the luckiest man alive

That you are!

Finding someone you can share your passions with is a real rarity in this world!

I tend to agree, us guys are less likely to find a girl who's into it, but those of us who have are veeery lucky.
Actually, I met my better half because of Transformers!
Rodimus...
isn't stone cold hottie a bit of an oxymoron? Or is she like Animated Blitzwing, with fire and ice?

"Sunstorm and WIW,
I have just got to deal with it. Aversion therapy doesn't work, he still goes back to the Prime.
"Look son, Megatron a big toy gun."
"I want the truck"
"But its a ...."
"I like octopus prine."
*Smashing glass as I throw myself out of the window screaming..*
"He's not my kid!!!"
