I've never even seen a TJMaxx They are non-existent around my part of the country. They do seem to keep toys in stock that other retailers have discontinued carrying. I remember seeing a thread once about them being one of the very last stores to have the 25th anniversary G.I. Joes in stock. Other retailers had pulled the line in favor of the new live action G.I. Joe movie (Rise of Cobra) toylines release.

Well, my copy of the Transformers Armada video game came today, and I also picked up the Beast Wars Season 1 set.

Transformers comic #80. I have completed the entire Marvel run. Finally!!!!!

Bought a case of 8 Wheeljack, Warpath, Thundercracker etc.. couple days ago too.

Nice! I did the same last winter. Refused to start reading them until I had the complete set. But once I did...I couldn't put them down.

Wow, I bought a transformer toy for a change. Picked up the DOTM Shockwave. He is afterall my favorite character of all TF continuity.

I could totally go for a Wheeljack and a Thundercracker, but I'm not entirely sure how to work out payment.

I think the best way to go would be to take it up with Trance and whoever else runs the store, see if you have enough revenue to justify purchasing a case or two, and then see where it goes from there. I'm not very familiar with how much business you guys get, though.

We've discussed it. Basically, you have to buy in to Hasbro for a set amount, and then you can order cases whenever and whatever you please until you've met your first amount of payment.

Depending on the mark up yalll have to do might be worth it. If its only like 5 dollars then yeah. If you have to go 10+ then no they will just sit for nearly a year i think.

Even a markup of only $2.99-$3.99 on generic figs (deluxes) and possibly $6.99-$7.99 on "in-demand" figs (deluxes) would clearly beat scalpers rates on Feebay. It's worth a shot, especially once Generations kicks off again. And most definitely when the TF: Prime figures get released this fall.

But of course! Plastic crack comes in all shapes/sizes. The only downside I see is when splitting open a fresh case there will always be those 1-2 figures (minimum) per case that the retail market is flooded with. Moving those, for a substantial profit, could be difficult.

And you'll have 2 types of customers:
A) The consumer that doesn't want to hit store after store looking to find every figure from each wave and would just rather pre-order them to save on time, gas, crowds, headache, exc...
B) The consumer that refuses to pay slightly higher online prices for a figure (not to mention shipping fees) and would rather drive all over the country to find it at retail. Only caving at the last second to buy it online at (usually by this point) even higher inflated prices.

I'm guilty of the latter.

I would be willing to buy new figures online here at TFL. When I shop in a store for figures it is a purchase of opportunity. I rarely go out searching for figures. I usually just order 'em online.

The only issue I see is that I have selective state. I am a G1er at heart and none of these movie line figures interest me. - Unless they make more appliances like Ejector! That figure is just awesome lol!

If you pick up generations/rts/classics etc. I'll buy 'em.

I'm hoping they'll make more CHUG-style toys, especially after the disappointment of the dreaded series-wide gimmick of mechtech.

Oh, they're going to. At Botcon, Hasbro said that they hadn't canceled the Generations line yet, and they had stuff lined up. (Including a heavily-implied ARCEE.)

And yes, MechTech sucks. But most of the DotM molds are actually pretty good. I have Bumblebee, Jolt, Megatron, and Shockwave, and they're all really nice molds, even if they're not terribly accurate (in Megatron and Shockwave's cases, anyways).
