Before Rattrap can respond, Blackjack receives a comm from Cambreaker. He is at first hesitant to answer, knowing that it will give their position away, but then again their position isn't particularly secretive anyway.

The business we came here to take care of is all set. One thing though. There's a new dinobot down here and whoeva it is they're challengin' Megatron himself to a little one on one. I figure if you shoot at Kaon now you're gonna blow up all the dinobots and me and Rattrap.

Even with all power having been cut to initiate the crafts 'dead' mode Destoroyah could still chuckle.

"Warstorm warp me to the hard point of outer hull plate 14" He says and a few moments later he is within the massively shielded safe point.

"Overcast initiate the hull separation charges"

All along the spine of the craft small charges go off in a series that would indicate a chain reaction. The armor plates float off in random directions buffeting the spites already weakened shields. The one housing Destoroyah and Warstorm passes above the spite through the weakened shields. Warstorm warps his commander on board the craft when there is a brief lull in the shields energy caused by the proximity of Destoroyahs craft when the explosions discarded the ships outer armor plates.

The hull plates continue there path past the spite causing no lasting damage. Some buffet the spite and spin off in random directions.

As the hull plate separation program reaches its completion all of the crafts systems power up. Overcast knowing his obligations throws the craft into all ahead full. The now lightened spacecraft uses the damaged and discarded hull plates to accelerate away from the autobot craft.

After Dinobot yells at Grimlock a few times. Its useless, let Grimock fight. It will keep Megatron off our back for a bit. Just as the Dinobots go after the hatch blown open by Snarl, the shields power back on and stops their advance. Well Rattrap, we seem to have run into a problem here. The three of them hold their ground. Well you two, if Grimlock is gonna fight this one out, at least we can give her some cover, make it a fair fight.

Rattrap's optic sensors struggle for a moment to adjust to the brightness of Cybertron's surface after their rapid ascent. Behind him, Kaon's shields still glowed, something that annoyed him greatly. Rattrap mulled over their hasty exit from the enemy stronghold, he knew it was for the best and that the fleet would probably overload the auxiliary power junction with their bombardment, but he hated leaving work unfinished.

Over Comms: Cambreaker, their primary power junction is a smoking pile of slag. Whatever is currently up is running through the auxiliary junction, and that's handling all the energon it can right now. If the shield absorbers are still active, you can probably blow out the junction with feedback, otherwise there can't be very much holding that shield up anymore. I recommend a focused barrage near the top of Kaon's dome. When the shields fall, you should be able to ensure that they don't come back up.

Out ahead, he saw Dinobot's squad nearby and an unknown Decepticon approaching them. Grimlock and Megatron's duel raged beyond that. The two bots approach Dinobot's group and explain the change in plans.

I don't think Grimlock would appreciate it if we interfered with her fight. Who ever this newcomer is though, he's fair game.

Rattrap looses a warning shot towards the new 'Con which lands near his feet. Over the din of the duel, he calls out to him.

What's your business here 'Con?

*The two Robots fall to the ground after Grimlocks tackle.*

"Whats the matter Grimlock, do you now realise that you are way out of your depth here? Do you now realise that you and your Dinobots are going to die tonight?"

*Punches Grimlock in the face and picks her up and throws her against the wall.*

"Me Grimlock will kill you Megatron."

"Do you think so Grimlock?"

*Megatron strides across and stamps on Grimlocks head. Turns and picks up Grimlocks energo sword. Smiles and walks back to were Grimlock is lying.*

"You die Megatron!"

*Grimlock turns into dino-mode and charges Megatron, knocking him through the wall. The Autobots cheer as Grimlock takes the upper hand. Reverting to robot mode she picks up Sludges sword and launches at Megatron*

"Goodbye Megatron, your menace end here, NOW!!"

*Megatron catches Grimlocks arm that holds the sword and rolls him over. Stabbing Grimlock in the chest with the sword it comes stright out the back through the Dinosaur head. Grimlock screams in pain and Megatron smiles and lifts Grimlocks energo sword. He strides over and says to Grimlock...*

"You came here thinking you were going to stop me. All this, Kaon, Iacon, Cybertron it all belongs to me! You die now, then your Dinobots will die soon."

*Raises the sword above his head and brings it down with one swipe. Taking great pleasure in the knowledge that Grimlock knew it was the end of the road and that she was going to die. Megatron leans down and picks up the severed head. Bringing it out into the courtyard throws it at the assembled Dinobots and Dinobot.*

"Your Dinobot leader is dead, would anyone else like to attempt to take me on?"

* dirge uses his ejecto seat and fires rumble into the air he lands on megatrons left, while dirge transforms and lands on megatrons right. dirge sees grimlocks head on the ground *

" nice you still got all your subtlety then commander "

Whatever element of surprise they had, it ended when Rattrap shot at the strange Decepticon. It didn't really matter at this point. The battle had been thrown down, all of it. This was nothing like the full out war that he was accustomed to, this was a more honorable form of battle. Megatron had challenged the dinobot known as Grimlock (Blackjack still wasn't sure where she'd come from) to single combat. There were a few other 'cons about, but none of them were doing anything. Meanwhile the 'Spite was battling with the bounty hunter's ship. It wasn't at all what he'd expected.

He didn't say anything to the strange 'con, Rattrap would take care of it. He was more interested in the duel taking place. Then the shock and horror of Megatron's victory. The severed head of the powerful dinobot was thrown at the feet of the other dinobots. Megatron had proven himself again as the most powerful warrior alive. If he'd had the Royal Flush there, he have taken the challenge, but as it was he could not stand up to Megatron. There had to be someone willing to do it, he looked at the assembled dinobots.

Darkshock chuckles as the shot is fired at him. "Yet again you autobots shoot at an unarmed opponent."

Darkshock transforms into his tarantula mode and leaps into the nearby piping disappearing from view.

A few moments later Darkshcok reappears from the pipe work near Rattrap. his fingers slicing the rats gun into segments before he can react.

"Top tip, guns ain't friendly"

Rattrap tenses as his gun falls from his hand, cut into ribbons.

'Con's ain't friendly either, bug-breath. What're your intentions?

Nooooo! Dinobot screams at Megatron. You sorry excuse for a decepticon, you'll pay for what you've done to Grimlock! Dinobot transforms and charges megatron sliding just before him and sweeping him with his tail. Knocking Megatron on his back. I have dealt with you're successor before, and he has more honor than you. Prepare to meet your maker! Dinobot transforms and picks up Sludge's sword. He then shoots the blade of it with his laser eye making it hot enough to cut raw steel.

* Dirge and rumble look at each other and stand back *

" one down, three to go .... heh heh heh "

The death makes Blackjack think. Decepticons were always like that, cold, ruthless killing machines. They took lives without remorse or pity. He is reminded once again of his purpose. The smug looks on the faces of Megatron's two goons. The snide comment about using Grimlock's head as a football. He hates all of it. Then Dinobot erupts and charges Megatron. He knows that Megatron is no problem, but those other two don't look so tough. He strides over to stand next to the Snarl and Sludge, waiting to cheer Dinobot on. They are all Autobots after all, no matter where they're from.

Four, ya sorry excuse for a Transforma. An I could take you and your buddy over there on my own. In fact I'd even make a bet on it.

He stands defiantly, glaring at the Decepticon who spoke.

* Dirge growls and his eyes glow a bright red *

" you wanna come over here and say that autobot "

Darkshock shakes his head. "Is everyone from both factions just programmed for combat." He mutters as he slinks back into the pipework, he appears sitting on top of it a few moments later.

"What happens next will be interesting."

*Megatron rises to his feet and pick up Grimlocks Energo sword.*

"Is there no end to this stupidity? I have already dispatched the Dinobot leader with relative ease, what chance may I ask, have you? You dinosaurs should have stayed dead, but don't worry I will just have to kill you all over again!"

*Dinobot and Megatrons sword clash together as they battle for supremacy. Dinobot hits Megatron with a punch in the face, knocking him back then swings with his sword knocking the Fusion cannon of Megatrons' arm*

"You should have struck at me and not the weapon! But then a warrior such as you deserves the same chance to fight me as Grimlock had. Come, show me what you have Autobot."

Seeing that he's got the Decepticon's attention, Blackjack presses his luck. He walks around the 'battle arena' and stands next to the Decepticon jet, still staring him in the eye.

Let's do this then, he says, we can go somewhere away from your leada and Dinobot and let them battle while we have our own good time.

He transforms and drives up and out of the moat, heading away from Kaon a short distance before transforming back to robot mode and waiting for the Decepticon to follow.

* dirge looks at rumble *
