I agree. If we ever learn your home address genoneguy, prepare for a tfl member military style "liberation" of your collection.

Well, I myself have been a member of the U.S. Air Force for 13 years so far so you might find "liberating" my Transformers a bit difficult.
No way!? I have nothing but respect for you guys - I have one friend in the british Navy who has been serving in Afghanistan, and another with the RAF who got his fast-jets licence a couple of years ago. I understand he's flying Tornadoes and Sea-Harriers these days. JEALOUS!!!
Actually, I meant to ask - where do you get those clear-plastic containers that you keep a lot of your TFs in, pinned to the wall, if they don't have a full box? I really need some of those... do they have a name or place they can be bought?
Star cases or Protech cases. They are normally used for carded action figues.

Got my Masterpiece Megatron in the mail a couple of days ago and will soon have a Masterpiece Starscream. Of course now that I have the Starscream I feel that I have to have Skywarp and Thundercracker when he's released. I can't wait to see the Grimlock and I hope they do a Soundwave.

Wouldn't it be cool if they made SW an actual AM FM CD MP3 player!
Speaking of MP Megs....
Does anybody else have this problem or is it just me?
What am I doing wrong?
I think Meg's should of had a V8 juice!
I have a hard time getting the ol' feller to stand up straight.

theres a common case of DBBOOLG. (Destabilised Blanace Becuase Of Overly Large Gun) try and see if he stands better without his fusion canon attached.

My MP Megatron hasn't had any balancing problems yet. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it something I should expect to happen to mine?

Mine tends to let his arm drop if its left horizontal. {the one with the fusion cannon.} but only when the cannon is attached. Otherwise no problems to report.

what an obvious solution!
GRAVITY!!!
But Megs just don't look good without his cannon.

My Megatron won't even stand up he just falls down when he has his cannon in his arm.
I hate to say it but wanting something and having something are two completely different things. I had my MP Megs out of the box for a week then put it up.
That toy has a lousy design and I don't understand how they could have done such a good job on Optimus (as another poster said) and a lackluster one on Megs.

Doesn't look like you're doing anything wrong Al, mine stands fine, and his cannon arm stays up...
BY THE WAY... it's months later, and my car-wax on his metal parts has prevented any rust or discoloration. I recommend this if you're concerned about cosmic rust on your megs' feet and back.

I can't get mine to balance right at all. the same problem as Al.

Sorry I got us so far off topic. I should have put my new purchase info in the new purchase thread. DUH! At least we got some good Masterpiece Megatron talk out of it.

I too have the balance problem with my MP Megs! I make some of my smaller Decepticons stand in front of him and use them to balance him and his oversized cannon! It works for me!
I'll have to try the car wax for his cosmic rust on his feet. Guess I missed this good piece of advice to stop it! Thanks Time Traveller! By the way just how much car wax and how do I apply it? And how often?

i used just enough to coat it, and made sure i didn't leave residue or chunks in the details of his sculpt. A Q-tip works great for both applying and buffing. I only applied one coat. since it's not on the road or in the rain like a car, one light coat should be plenty enough to seal the metal. if you transform him often, or the metal gets a lot of finger traffic, you could occasionally recoat the flat spots. be careful not to get too much buildup in the cracks... one coat should last a good long time in those places.
