Just for clarifciation with the current line of transformers [movie] what are the prices of the lines in America?

I ask beacuse commander megatron made some comment about UK prices being double what they are in the USA.

The leader class movie Prime in the US is $39.99 and the UK one is £39.99. now I'm not scienmatician, but 40 bucks does not convert to 40 pounds!

£40 is about $80. It is true then we collectors in the UK are getting ripped off.

That's why all my movie toys were bought by Arcee and shipped home with me in my luggage.

Ouch that does suck. I wouldn't have the collection I have now if it was that expensive here in the states.

in Australia
Leader RRP $99.99
Voyager RRP $49.99
Deluxe RRP $27.99

now 1 Australian Dollar is worth 87 US cents

so we end being shafted harder than anybody :x

As rampage is the new guy, I will say nothing about this comment, and let it serve as a warning for how I will use all further possible double meanings from Rampage to ask if he is sure he is not from New Zealand. ;)

This would be especially bad though, Rampage, considering that the should not have to travel as far from the manufactures.

The only reason I could see for the drastic increase in prices in U.K. and Austrailia would be heavy import taxation?

just for comparison: [all in US Dollars]

leader class:

UK $80
USA $40
Aus: $86.99

Voyager:

UK $40
USA ?
Aus $43.49

Now I see your point rampage.

Damn Brits and their taxes. That's why we left! ~WIN~

Looked at that option TT. With those sellers that acutally ship to the Uk putting stupid shipping costs on the items [about $20-30 in the most extrem cases on deluxe class figures!] it works out cheaper to buy them from a store. If you can find the ones you are after of course. If I remember my local store has a pile of blackouts and ratchet [voyager] but no deluxe class toys bar protoform prime [No love for brawl :( ]

would it be cheaper if you just got someone to buy them for you, get them to open it, and ship it as a gift, then its hella cheap
