Yeah, I've been quiet a little this week due to visits here and there to my doc, but I've made some progress and am working on it right now actually... I've done some more on Jetfire around his chest/canopy and added some silver to his face to give it a metallic look....I'll post a pic when I've finished this evenings session.

Here we go - really not that far to go now... Just Jetfire's white parts of his body now to do, along with the background and Sunny's radiation... again, I've been mixing with metallic paints for the shaded areas and the pics with the flash show how it reflects at certain angles. Decided to do JF's autobot symbol in UV too...

This should definitely be finished by the end of this weekend now :D

That is gorgeous. I'm sure I've said it before, but you're wicked talented, Sunny. Thanks for taking all those pics, too--I love being able to see the progression.

I agree, the showing of process is very nice.
I too like to draw.
But I am not NEARLY as good as you are.
But whenever i'm drawing, I take time out to watch the drawing evolve.
Then I find all my screw-ups.

Thanks guys. I too am a fan of the progress pics - if nothing else, the record of them after I've sent the painting to a buyer is a great reminder on where I went with a picture from start to finish... I'd like to try it a step further with a sort of time-lapse film of the process, but I don't have a clue how to do anything that good with a video camera... :?

if you have a photobucket account, just do a step by step slide show. I have some slide shows of favorite pictures.

Right - I nearly finished Jetfire this evening, but it's now after 1am, and I was up til after 4am last night (ask Nightshade lol) so I just have to stop for the night.... I've just JFs left side and hand around Sunny's head to do, then I can move on to the finish with the background and radiation... almost done! Whew! The UV paints came in handy again to capture the orange/yellow glow from Sunny hitting JFs side... 8)

I really, really enjoyed it :D I've never had so much fun with MSN... you've got me hooked on it now. I barely used it before, but I think I'll be on more regularly now... Gonna shoot off to bed tonight though, I'm knackered!

Ta da!!

Image

Jetfire and Sunny are now finished.... I just need to do the background and radiation and we're there... I think I'm gonna need to buy some more black ink/paint before I tackle the background, so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow... so close to finishing, I can almost taste it
