Transformers Forum Sites Gone Forever?

What happened to the other two good transformers forums,
GITM and Roddy's Place? Are they gone for good? Or are there plans to relaunch them?
I hope they are relaunched soon! Anybody got any updates?

I have a TF site that is in the processes of a remodel/revamp. I need a new name and I can begin a new forum for people to populate, otherwise Autobot Iacon is still alive and kickin.

Well SP i believe Roddy is going to rebuild his forum on a proboard me i'm not going to rebuild mine is gone so, maybe some time in the future but not right now, sorry

Might I inquire as to why?
Is the board script lost to the ether?
Or a just a hosting issue?
Or a time/management/upkeep issue?
Or?

no i had no problems with it at any level, it was the main server that had crashed and could not be recovered so everything was lost i might rebuild in the future though

I have made another forum but its not for transformers or any other toon figures, its for movies and dvd swaps here is the link if anyone is interested i ljust started it so bare with me please

Roddys place is gone forever, but has been replaced by
TF Asylum.
As NS said, the server crashed and lost all data from all sites it hosted. nothing was recovered.
I believe TFwiki was on the same server and thankfully they had made their own back up. Bad news, the back ups were over a year old.

like Ghostinthemachine, I was saddened by the loss on the GITM board, and I also lost my Star Wars Universe forum, though luckily before it dissapeared into the void of someones stupid mistake in doing an upgrade, I was able to move all the critical info and rpg onto my TF forum The Shadow Realm. Though my board catters to all kinds of fans, and different kinds of rps and topics that are not just tf based.
