Genuine or knock off?

I have some parts that I'm not sure are real. Someone identified a bunch my unknown accessories for me. But when I attempted to double check the IDs through the database here there where 3 that didn't match the photos.

All of them were ID as G2, for inferno and some aerialbots.

Is it possible they are genuine and that the photos in the database are from the G1 versions?

Now I also have a version of Breakdown that I've decided is a KO. But I thought I'd doublecheck before I dumped it into the junk bin.

Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure that Breakdown's a KO. And I say that because of the stickers, they look really tacky.

The problem with Optimus is that their have been so...so...many reissues,KO's, Encores, ect... that it's almost impossible to tell if certain parts are legit or not.

I have a friend that bought a OP figure off ebay, he was told he was getting an original G1. What he got was a G2 Optimus cab with a G1 trailer, with all the accecsories being KO's! We knew they were Ko's because they used different plastics...and the Roller was chromed.
And as far as I know no Prime reissue has ever had a Chromed Roller.

Yes, that Breakdown does look like a KO. Plastic body, blue face, (white?) stickers and so on. Interesting picture though :)

As for the weapons; Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the G2 Aerialbots have the same weapons as the G1's?
The other gun looks like Grapple/Inferno's, but with part of it missing.

Sorry I added pictures to that gallery without thinking about it. The ones I'm asking about are the last 3 that aren't labeled.

The 2 that are similar to the aerialbots weapons and the inferno one. The inferno one looks right except that the space between the two bars is filled in.

The aerialbots ones are the right size and general shape, but they don't look exactly like the ones in the database. Thats why I hoping someone here has a G2 set they know is genuine, so I can know for sure.

As for breakdown this one isn't even blue on the bottom its purple.

The Inferno gun is fake. All the ones I've seen have the space above the barrel; while the fakes have it filled. Breakdown is also the KO which comes in that giftset which flooded evilBay about 7 years ago.

I've been searching around and found some things.

Even here in the whole set picture:

Are you sure the G2 gun is open?

You have proven me wrong - thanks! I'll amend that on my records.

the G2 Inferno gun is filled. There's also an issue with our listings of G2 dinobots... their swords should not be equivalent as G1, since they're made of a very different plastic.

Real or KO?

Its a knock off. Look how cheesy the stickers are. Breakdown is a cream color with red face and silver metal chest. If anyone ever doubts their TFs take out your Cybertronian Transformers field guide.

I got this one today:

Its the best KO I've gotten so far. Not only does it have diecast metal parts, but the plastic seem sturdier than the REAL constructicons.

Pity its missing an arm. Oh well, it'll do as a substitute until I get a real scavenger for my G2 Devastator.

I got the G1 snarler inner robot. But I cannot find the factory stamp. Anyone else have one? Where should the stamp be? Is there even supposed to be one?

Fixed it for you, CM.
(Coming from the guy that's closing in on 2+ of everything... though I won't be doubling up on Max, , Micromaster bases, or Movie Targetmasters... because I don't *bleed* money.

Oh, or ActionMasters, because what's the point?)

Reissues, knock-offs, bootlegs, etc are destroying the hobby of collecting original G1's.
