Counterfeit G1 Devastator Sells for over $400 *sigh*

*sigh*. This is EXACTLY why we shouldn't be supporting the G1 accurate KO's in ANY way shape or form.
This one is pretty cut and dry. If anybody is a member of other boards, could you cross-post this? Just *maybe* the poor buyer will see it.

Is it possible to contact ebay directly about it?
Aside from that the only way I know of to contact the buyer is to wait until the buyer leaves feedback for the seller. Then you can click on their name to access their member page and contact them.

I sent a counterfeit item report to Ebay, but I highly doubt they'll do a dang thing about it.
I just got this e-mail from the seller:
"You don't get out much do you? I've been through this and noticed
and alerted the other buyers it was too late to revise my ad. So the
main buyer is well aware plus I bought the devastator under the
impression it was g1 at first too at first."
So... the buyer KNEW he was paying $405 for a counterfeit? Riiight.
Next e-mail:
"Whats your deal man? Its not counterfeit , go-bots are counterfeit. or maybe if it said Transfurmers with a U thats counterfeit. I just started to ebay and this is whats its like? People make mistakes and your that bored you gotta be sending me this stuff?"

This is why I stay away from boxed stuff. And why I leave anything that looks too good. The prices I buy stuff at it really doesn't matter if its real or not.

Ouch that guy should be wicked mad. Then again if you are that dumb...
If I had a Dev in that condition it would have gone to AFA a long time ago. So question should have been to the "winner" why has this not gone to AFA yet? "It's been behind glass for years"
I thought those came out recently?
The post says august of 2007, as the figs are not out yet. but I guess if the guy got it late in 07 then he is just squeaking by withe the years line...
Good job calling the guy out though BT.

feel bad for that guy. should have done his homework though.
