You can plug it into his crane arm to release a large sword blade. {That can get bent if left folded away as its made of that soft rubbery plastic.}

There must have been a slight mold change. I think you use the key to activate his shoulder missile launchers.

No. I don't see any slot for the key anywhere on him. And the launcher still has the minicon peg.

The key has a minicon port in it. replacing the minicon.
{Which is a shame as his color map shows the minicon. I still have to customise my spare armarda blackout to match him. }

What they say is true. He doesn't include the minicon radar truck to launch his L arm missiles, so there's a minicon port molded into the key where the stud and the dish of the key join. A similar stunt was done with a recolor of AR deluxe optimus, who was released in CYB without over-run.
