Vintage Star Wars Retail Prices

I am currently cataloging my star wars collections and was wondering if anyone remembered how much the figures individually sold for. Does anyone have any carded figures with the price tag still on them? I assume they were around $4-$5.

which years of the 30 years of star wars toys are you looking at? I assume they were much less than $5 in 1978, and i've seen stores that charge up to $12 for a simple figure and lightsaber nowadays.
